I first had Lux Transport fix my "Jeep Trail" of a driveway in 1990. Deen widened and graded the half mile trail. He then installed culverts, added a road bed of large road bed rock and finished with a traffic bond of the correct size gravel for a smooth surface. Several bids came in at $12 per cubic yard of pit run gravel, while Deen, with his own gravel on his property bid $10.50. Excellent prices.

Several winters when Mercer had 300+ inches of snow, I had Deen push my snow banks farther back with a bulldozer. The one ton truck just did not weigh enough to move the snow banks which ended up at 16 feet tall.

In 1996 my 35 acres of Aspen trees needed harvesting. Also many of my 75 years young White Pines died when they got flooded in the Spring. Deen did a fine job of Aspen harvest and salvage of the dead trees.

In 1999 I subdivideded my land and moved into downtown Mercer. Deen installed the road to Township specs, In 2007 Deen cleared out my overgrown back yard, removed dead trees, and bulldozed a trail to the ATV and snowmobile trail #17. He then installed a new fence.

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with both the work and low prices.
