Contrary to the name; my bike did not work when I picked it up. I took my bike in for a simple tune up and chose this shop because another shop had recommended it for its fast turn around time, about 24 hours versus a week or better. I went to pick up my bike and they wanted me to ride it to ensure that is was working properly, well it wasn't. The left side was not shifting right, and I told the guy, so he looked at it, and insisted it was. So I was getting upset, and he tells me that it was broken when I brought it in, and that's why I took it in. By this time I was upset, and he offers to replace the shifter for $13, all while insisting that I, his customer, was wrong. I decided I would be taking my bike elsewhere, so I went in to pay. I asked if he took credit cards, and he did not respond, so I got out my checkbook. Then he refused to take my check because he thought I "had an attitude". I didn't have any cash, so he said he would have to hold the bike until I did, so I had to borrow $43 from my mom (he did give me 10$ off). I held out my hand for my change and he set it on the counter. I then went to Michael's Cycles in Janesville and the service department looked at my bike free of charge. THE CABLES AND SCREWS WERE NOT HOOKED UP PROPERLY, SO THAT'S WHY IT WOULDNT WORK, so they fixed my bike free of charge. Long story short spend the extra $20 and go to someone who knows what they are doing.
