This store was recommended based on a on line review. Completely disappointed in the their ability to do a simple remount on a diamond ring. The salesman ,Wade who assured us that the stores staff was not only capable ,but took a great deal of pride in their work.Sadly, The mount was done so poorly,it needed to be redone by some other jeweler(Steins).I later learned that Powers has a less than "stellar' reputation in Milwaukee,and rely upon walk -ins along with customers who want it fast and cheap,and who have little knowledge of what a true artisan can do.Buyer beware.You'll do better at at Wal mart!

This is the kind of retail establishment you want to avoid at all costs.. Forgetting that their clientele is, and always will be lower/middle-middle class,prices on mass low-end "quasi-jewelery"(think 1 step above Kohls) and services are inflated enough to make anyone seriously thinking of doing business with them,shop around.
Smarmy, condesending sales clerks, with more attitute than polish or finesse insist they are "Jewelry experts
and bristle at the thought that someone might look upon them as salespeople.(how pretentious).Do not purchase or agree to have any work done unless in writing. (I suggest you have it signed by the owner ) They are known for not honoring agrrements unless in writing! This "jeweler is a "cliche"
who is attempting to play in the "big leagues", but stiill holds onto a bush league mentality.

High quality Jewelry at great prices. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The store is a great location downtown, across from Grand Avenue Mall. They do great repairs at reasonable prices. The jewelry is high quality and they have a great selection to choose from. I have bought jewelry from here and I have never had any problems with it. I have also had jewelry fixed and they do really good work.

PROS: Great Selection,Prices, Location and Staff
