"Where has all the custard gone?"
I love Louie's "egg custard". But I find only one local Rockford grocer still carrying it. And they are charging almost $5.00 per little aluminum pan.
Is there any other way that I can find that item at a decent price? And from here in Rockford. Actually, I would like to buy it in a much larger amount. Also, I would be willing to drive a ways to find it. Can you tell me where?

Having taught in Argyle for many years, I have had the opportunity to participate in field trips to Louie's several times. It is facinating to see how everyday things, like pudding, is made. I especially love the Tapioca!! This is not a store where you go shopping but rather one from which you order specialty foods which I do recommend.
