Everytime I go here there is always a line out the door!
I get the pancakes, bacon and eggs everytime I go. It is really good. My husband ordered an omlette and it was huge! He couldn't finish it. They have a large selection of breakfast food on the menu. I don't care for the long waits to get a seat, but I'd go every once in a while if I was craving breakfast food.

Really good food but you have to wait like a half hour for your food and the waitress we had would serve the people next to us first when we asked for a refill of coffee....she and the manager were very rude.

This place stands out for breakfast from many others but expect crappy management to put a wrench in your meal.

We were literally freezing this past December on the West side of the building. Everyone on that side was complaining. We got our food and (I'm not kidding) within 5 minutes, it was cool. That's pretty terrible. The waitress made a point to take our drinks (a whole $2.50 worth) but the jerk manager (who had a line waiting for him to complain) didn't give one hoot. He went as far as saying to take it up with corporate. Good luck, there wasn't a number or web site.

Food though is large in portion, tasty and they have ethnic European pancakes you have never heard of. The omelets are gigantic, 3 people could share one. The home fries are very good and so is the (expensive small glass) of fresh squeezed o.j.

Let it be known the 4 star rating is for food. Service gets a big fat 0......

Cons--Bad management, Price
Pros--Good breakfast for sure.

The food here is just great. If you plan to eat here, bring your appetite, especially if you order any omellete...its about as big as your plate and about an inch thick or more. The chicken crepes are great, as well as the Mushroom omellete. Be sure to try the Chocolate chip pancakes with the chocolate syrup...you're guarenteed a chocolate "high"...never typed chocolate that many times in a sentece before. Anyway, the only drawback is it's expensive just for 2 people...considering a GLASS of orange juice is $4. It's good, but its more expensive than gas. Try this place at least once, you wont regret it...your wallet might.

The breakfast at Original Pancake House is very good.

We visited on a windy day, and unfortunately the door closers didn't do a real good job of keeping the doors closed while we were waiting. There was a constant stream of people in and out, and the outside door would tend to hang open, making for a cool breeze inside.

Our wait wasn't too terribly long, although apparently it gets bad enough that they've made arrangements to queue people somewhere else (if I overheard correctly, a business next door) where they've got a radio intercom to page people.

The fresh squeezed orange juice is fantastic, but also about $4 for a large glass. The bacon is great, although over a dollar a strip. The syrups are very good, and the pancakes are done well. The overall atmosphere was pleasant.

However, spending $28 on breakfast for two puts it in the very pricey range, and we're not likely to become repeat customers when there are other pancake houses charging less nearer.

This restaurant serves the finest breakfast I have had anywhere. They have a broad menu with both traditional and more exotic items. The omelets and pancakes are phenomenal. If you're coming here, arrive early. People who come later may wait up to 45 minutes for a table, but it's worth it. The prices are high, but so is the quality. It's a nice treat on occasion.
