Van Vreede's Appliance

They have nice products but after the sale is horrible. They use outside service repair companies and will not stand behind them. We had an issue with a repair and I contacted Van Vreedes informing them of the poor service by the repair company and they said we need to take it up with them. Keep in mind, this appliance was only 2 weeks old and obviously still under warranty. What a joke.

Stay away. A total rip off.

Van Vreede's has tried 5 times to get us an TV stand that is put together correctly or not damaged... 5 times! We are now trying again. Service people are great our sales guy was awesome but the managers are HORRIBLE! Excuse after excuse how it is not their fault it is the manufacturer.. excuse me I am buying from them not the manufacturer right?!?! Manager yells as I demand a good product...Doesn't think I should be upset that I ordered the product the first week of November and we are in April and it still isn't correct! Then our couch broke 3 days after it was delivered, again... manufactured wrong... Ok I get it sometimes there are issues but now we wait another 6 weeks because you know it has to come from AZ. Seriously what kind of joke of an operation is this place?

Bought an Electrolux stove and refridg. in jan. 2010. (More than $6,000). Within a week, had to call for service on a door gasket for the refridg. Today, the solenoid valve leaked water all over the wood floor. Floor is warped and part of the drywall wall is damaged. Called Van Vreede's and asked to speak with the sales manager. Ed, identified himself as sales manager, asked me what the problem was. I explained everything and said he would have service call me in the morning to set up a time. I told him that I want service first thing in the morning. He said that is up to the service dept. to schedule. I explained that I just spent $6000 with them, it is my second service call, and I now have property damage and they're going to make me wait until possibly the afternoon? He comes back, with an attitude, and says, "who knows, it may not be until Monday." Keep in mind, today is Thursday. At that point, I asked to speak to his boss and with that, he laughed. He told me he is payed by the owner to deal with people like me and hung up on me.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER do business with Van Vreede's.

The review from Becky G was right on BIG time!That was in 2005 I just went there at the end of Jan.I had $3000 to spend on a new living room set.My wife and I do look young and I was wearing my co jacket which is dirty.One sales women just watched us walk by piss me right off!!!

Each time I visited this store they look at you and make you feel like your not worth the time. Then a friend gets a job there and finally we get waited on! Whats the deal with that?

We purchased several appliances from this store, they usually offer some type of extended financing, the only problem is that if you want extended financing you usually pay a higher price for the appliance other than that they have a huge selection of appliances to choose from and they will compete with other appliance stores on price.
