Went to one office, they said my daughter has 10 cavities! Took her to pediatric office (still with Forward Dental) they, too, said she has 10 cavities. But, I felt I got 2 different stories, as far as what needs to be done! PLUS, they wanted to do ALL of her fillings in 1 appointment (2 1/2 hr time frame)! She's FIVE!! Long story short, used my mommy-intuition, took her into a private dentist for a second opinion, she has 5 cavities NOT 10! Bunch of crooks!! It's a chain dental provider...think money, money, money! OH... and I had the HARDEST time getting her x-rays transferred over to the other dentist for a second opinion. I had to call AT LEAST a half a dozen times and even threatened to drive down there and make sure they hit send. Don't trust them! They only see dollar signs! (oh, and the dentist was condescending in her tone with me about having my daughter "let me" floss her teeth, because I'm a bad parent who doesn't take care of her teeth)!

I missed my scheduled appointment in November because I had been laid off. A few days after the missed appointment, Forward Dental calls and asks to have it rescheduled. I informed them that I had been laid off and didn't think I had the dental insurance to cover it. Forward Dental went on to tell me that I should come in as they were sure that I would still be covered despite the layoff as it was just a routine cleaning and it wouldn't cost me a cent. So I rescheduled and left the office only to receive a $83 statement saying that I had no insurance!!! Although I offered to pay for half of it, Forward Dental is claiming that I am to blame for the entire error and that no one in their office would ever tell me to come in for a routine cleaning if I had been laid off.
This office also did a fluoride treatment on my under age daughter without my consent and of course, billed me for it as it wasn't covered under the insurance.
I have experienced serveral situations in which I was told something was covered and end up paying for it in the long run, so I shouldn't be surprised. But now I'm beyond upset with this Dental office and would not recommend them to anyone - nor will they see me or my family in any of their offices.

I paid cash for services and was charge again the same amount and again. I called the manager and the second time I called she didn't replay for a whole week until I called again. For my complaints she wouldn't listen to me at all but keep saying her statements that I need to pay. When I replied that I am not paying twice for the same service she said that she turns to collection services. I would never go there again.

I had a very bad experience with the gradview office. I talked to the dentist and he gave me a quote for work. After my last visit I paid what I was told was owed at that time. About 6 months later I got a bill saying I was 60 days late owed about twice the amount I already paid. The bill had 2 of the same procedures listed for each tooth worked on. When I asked the staff to explain why, they had no reason for extra charges. They were rude and the extra amount they charged was $500 over my insurance coverage.The bill they sent did not make sense and they were not willing to go over extra items listed. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office. If you go be sure and find out what your balance is before leaving. I would not recceomend you go to any forward dental offices

Dr. Werwie - not honest about possible occlusal changed with NTI-TSS device when in fact the manufacturer's website has such a warning to dentists to inform patients of possible occlusal changes. I actually went in for a flat plane night guard, but Dr. Werwie only makes NTI-TSS devices. Even though they scheduled me with Dr. Werwie who couldn't or wouldn't make the device I wanted and need, I was still billed for the consult. The billing dept. refused to refund me so I wrote to the QA dept. to appeal that denial in 10/09. It is now almost mid-12/09 and they have not communicated with me in any way. I just left a voicemail with the PR person to complain about this and hope they get their act in order and refund my money. Also, avoid the West Allis office - it's a dump.

Absolutely awful service. They convince you to perform unnecessary and painful procedures. They claim it is covered under your insurance when it is not. Then, when you try to fight the bill, they send it to a collections agency. They did not use proper numbing agents when performing the procedure, then claimed I did not complain enough when it was being done so it wasn't their fault. When I did complain, they told me that was just how it was suppose to feel. When the insurance refused the unnecessary procedures, rather than telling me or sending me a bill, they sent me a payment late final notice. To this day, I never received an actual bill from the company. Their corporate, who I contacted, refused to answer my calls after the initial complaint. Three weeks later they send a letter saying they "investigated" and found their people were in the right without allowing me to explain or discuss the issues. They do not care about customers and will always back up their incompetent doctors.

An absolutely horrible business, the worst I have ever seen, and I will not be returning there again.

My family has been going here for more than 5 years. They are professional , and competent. Dr. Werwie (oral surgeon) did a great job on some difficult impacted wisdom teeth. They are not the cheapest, but they do a good job.

Forward Dental is a nightmare. I went for a routine cleaning mention to the doctor I had a little pain in one of my teeth and the dentist said that nothing showed up in the x-ray. Came in a month later only for the dentist to tell me that I needed 4 cavity's filled and had to have 2 teeth pulled! Went to a different facility to get my teeth pulled they told me I didn't even have a problem with one of the teeth that they pulled out? On top of all this Forward Dental quoted me $250 got a bill for $988 for 4 cavity's...I have insurance.The work was done in the end of November I was paying them $150 a month now I get a letter in the mail February 1st saying that they are sending me to collections even though I have paid $150 every month.

The staff who are not doctors are people too, and deserve to be treated with respect. The prior reviews are correct, they overcharge patients where ever they can take advantage of a situation. Review your charges for the work that was actually done! AND NEVER WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!

never on time, overcharge patients. The clinic does not look clean. They overcharge just to get your records and films ($40 for 2 films) when they had already been paid by the insurance company, so this is a 100% profit for them.

I have total faith in and respect for my dentist, Dr. Gipple-Johnson. Staff is friendly, and Dr. Johnson will just go to any extend to ensure the job is done right. Strange billing/accounting at Forward, though. They generally overcharge because I almost always have a credit balance. And the hygenist is the roughest I've ever encountered. I think she's a sadist.

I don't know how anyone could think they are good. I have had nothing but problems and I will never step foot in this place again. They are not accommodating. The dentists and hygienist's are very rough when checking your mouth, I always walk out with an extremely sore mouth! The employee's are always different and because of this the procedures are never consistent. I will never give them any of my money or my insurance companies money ever again! I will also make sure that no one I know goes to this place!

But this place makes it not so bad. The staff is very friendly and pretty punctual with appointment times so you won't find yourself sitting and waiting for extended periods of time. They are thorough and explain things very well. See you all again in August.

Prices are a bit more steep than other places, but the quality and care is there.
