I should have read the reviews before I took my Malibu in for standard servicing and the replacement of a safety belt that jammed while my son was wearing it (so it had to be cut off him).

The short of the story is that the dealership was asked by Chevy corporate to pay for the replacement of the seat belt and they told Chevy that they'd give me a 10% discount only because the car had over 100K miles on it. It has 99K - so not true.

Furthermore, what difference does it make how old the car is when the seat belt jams and doesn't release while you're still in it??? We were on the highway, it was late at night and I had to pull over to a Burger King at the next stop. Fortunately, the employee had a jack knife and ran out to the car and cut my son free. It was very tramatic because the more my son tried to free himself, the tighter the seat belt got on him until it was constricting his stomach. And now this dealership doesn't want to pay for the replacement of a safety belt? Safety belts, as the name implies, are for SAFETY purposes. They should not be causing the danger.

I'll never use this dealership again and have taken the issue up the ladder with Chevy. When it's a matter of life and death AND the cause was a malfunctioning seat belt, either the dealership which Chevy pushed me off to or Chevy themselves must take responsibility.

Went to buy a Hyundai Elantra with a pre-approved price - approved by 3 managers and I had to leave a credit card # . Dealer at first refused me the mfg financing and when I pressed the issue raised the price $1200. I fortunately walked out with all the paperwork - other dealers I've shown it to said it should be a legal contract.
Went to Ewald and bought a KIA with no problems at all.

The staff at the Boucher body shop in Waukesha was extremely kind and honest when I was trying to decide how to repair a small scratch in my car bumper. Repainting the entire bumper would have cost approximately $500, but they also offered me the option of doing a small spot touch-up (complete with my own tube of paint for small future mishaps!) for about $75.

They did not pressure me to get the more expensive fix. Rather, Tabitha, who gave me my quote, told me that a small touch-up would be best since the bumper was plastic and hence not prone to rust.

I gladly accepted this option, and when I took my car to have the touch-up done, it was expertly completed in about 15 minutes, and the body shop manager, Tom, did not even charge me for the repairs or the paint tube he gave me! Instead, he handed me his card and simply asked that I come back if I get into any more trouble with my car. It was a wonderful surprise, as I had expected to pay probably at least $300 to fix a minor scratch in my car!

Even without the extraordinary generosity, the entire experience was exceptional in terms of the customer service offered and the attention I was given for such a minor issue. Boucher offered refreshingly simple and honest car repair, such a change from my normal car repair experience! I would highly recommend this body shop for anyone looking for honest, quality work!

They repaired a bumper for me in their collision dept. I was satisfied with their work, until the paint started bubbling. I called them to complain about the paint. The redid the work without delay @ no charge.
