On our way home from a basketball tournament in Appleton, WI, myself, my daughter & her friend stopped at the Subway in Oconto, WI at 10:00 a.m. After we placed our orders, received our sandwiches, we were at the cash register & I asked the girl who was waiting on us to make my daughters a meal with a pop & chips. The young lady informed me that the ice machine was not working & she had no bags of ice. I told her that was okay, the pop should still be cold. My daughters friend wanted chocolate milk. The young lady informed us that the cooler was not working properly & everything was freezing. Went & took a chocolate milk out of the cooler & it was indeed frozen. The only explanation I received was, I don't know what's wrong with it. My daughter took a sip of her pop & it was warm. She threw it out. Went to wipe off our table after we finished & the napkin stuck to the table as it was all sticky from previous people eating there. I believe I should not have been charged for two meals since there was nothing cold to drink. The young lady working offered us no compensation. Very disappointing as my daughter & I eat at Subway quite frequently.
