While on vacation in the Minocqua, Wi area, my car started acting very strange-chugging, spitting and eventually dying. I couldn't get into a shop(too booked up)-so I went into the closest auto parts store which was Carquest. Talked with counter guy with a southern accent and he was helpful, although it turns out he didn't have a clue. After a morning spent chasing a "ghost", I decided to get another opinion and went to the Napa store-told the counter man my problem,he immediately told me to check the plug in connector for the "mass air flow sensor". I went back to my chugging car, opened hood, and sure enough-that's all it was. I returned $215.00 worth of parts to Carquest (which they nicked me a return fee).

I have bought many auto parts from this NAPA store over many years. They are a few bucks more for some parts, but for most they are competitive, and you can't beat the service. They have always had the parts I needed in stock, and there employees are very helpful. I have never had any attitude problems from the employees when returning parts I didn't use or need. They have always been very courteous. I highly recommend this NAPA store.

I went into NAPA Auto Parts to buy some Carb Cleaner for my husband's 4-wheeler. Instead of trying to find it myself I went right to the counter to ask. The sales associate directed me to it immediately and was very courteous. I paid and left the store within 2 minutes. It was very fast service! The only downside of NAPA is that their prices are a little expensive but they were the only ones in town that carried the specific brand that I was looking for.
