I have been taking my dog here since 2009 and don't plan to go anywhere else. I first came here because they were the only clinic to take my emergency on a Friday night and have had nothing but good experiences since then. Dr. Singh always remembers me and my dog and treats us like family. Unlike other clinics, Bayshore explains to be the problem and the treatment necessary. Best of all, Bayshore always has the cheapest prices because they don't charge me unnecessarily. I love the respect Dr. Singh and the rest of the staff show me and because of this I will always take my pets here.

Would not recommend. I took my 9 week old puppy in because I was worried he had mange. The vet ended up having to do 3 scrapings on my dog, elbow, forehead and rear end all of which caused bleeding and possible scaring. It turns out my dog has demodectic mange. I sure wish I did my research before agreeing to any treatment. This type of mange is extremely common in puppies as it is passed on from their mothers. The type my dog has (localized) usually cures itself within a matter of time as long as the dog keeps up his immune system.. The vet prescribed Goodwinol ointment, medicated shampoo, two shots (one of which I believe was Ivemectin) and on top of that Amitraz Medicated Dips once a week for 5 weeks. Not only is this shocking considering my dog only had localized mange but its extremely expensive and not to mention TOXIC to dogs under 4 months of age. Side effects include, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy and weakness. All of which my puppy had immediately afterwards. I called the vet and asked about it and they just said he'd be fine and it was probably just from the shots he had. My end bill was $225. Now they want me to come back and continue the dips but no way. I found alternative methods to treating my puppy that does not involve toxic chemicals. On top of all of this that same day my puppy came down with a severe runny nose with yellow mucus. I called the Bayshore Vet clinic and all they did was prescribe me "cough tablets" twice a day for 7 days. I'm not even sure whats in them but they assured me it would clear up the runny nose. Lastly to be safe since my puppy is so young I was worried he may still have worms even after many treatments and brought in a stool sample. No word yet but I'm almost expecting some sort of outrageous claim that he needs more shots and medications. All in all, there are better vet practices, do your research and get a second opinion! I feel played.

Bayshore is by far the best experience I have had at a vet. We have a German Shepherd and 3 cats, and they all go here. One key point - they don't charge an exam fee for a followup visit. Many other vets I have gone to do. The doctors are very very nice and very willing to dispense advice that may very well cost them business. They are genuinely concerned with the health of your pet and not just making money.
