The first time I went to Public Enemy, I got a tattoo and it was terrible. It looked good at first, but after the first 3 or 4 days the ink started peeling backwards on both me AND my friends tattoo. It now looks patchy and blotchy.
The SECOND time I went, I decided to get a lip piercing. The piercer put too little of lip piercing in, and it swelled up and over my piercing and had to be removed. Then, 3 months later, right where my piercing hole was on my lip, a blister showed up. The piercing was not sterilized and gave me TYPE 1 HERPES. That is what my doctor said. I took care of my piercing and tattoo very well and I have had many tattoos before.

I went to Public Enemy this last weekend with my wife, her 3 sisters and there dad. We had a blast. I really had no intentions of getting anything done myself. They were getting tattoos done in memory of their grandma who recently passed. The artist; Jeff and Jay were great. Excellent personalities, alot of fun, very relaxed atmosphere, and serious artists. After watching the work they did on the women and my father-in-law, I couldnt help but get another tat done. We are all very pleased, and I know that we are all already planning on going back, and soon. Highly recommend Public Enemy. Price is also unbeatable.
My husband and I went to get tattoo's at Public Enemy. It was a great experiecne. Our tattoo's that we got have our son's name and bitrhdate on them. Our artist was very professional and really made us feel like a person. They explained how to clean and take care of it. I feel that I was treated very fairly there and I would continue to go there for my next tattoo's.
Of course as an 18year old... a tat is exciting!! I went and got one on the back of my neck, following the directions properly the tat healed fine! Later on I went back to get one on my foot... same great experience. Since I had a great experience I told one of my friends to go... her experience was not so hot... it looked good till the tattoo lost the puffyness. We went back in to Public and they refered us to another guy... EXCELENT TOUCH UP! I know a lot of people that have gone here and got tats ne where you can think of... multiple peircing... and beside the one friends tat that needed to be touched up... I LOVE PUBLIC!
industrial was the first thing i got done there...i was happy with it and it did not hurt at all...the balls were really hard to get off when it was finally healed.
after that me and my friend went there to get her tounge pierced...it was great. when i went to get mine done, he took my tounge and twisted it, put the needle through then untwisted it, layed it on my chin...then took my tounge and retwisted it and put the bar through and almost lost it and it bled bad. he said that i had a really slippery tounge and he lost grip...i talked to the other piercers there and only one other guy does that way of piercing....i did not like it at all. all of my friends who have done it have gotten the normal way of piercing it...over all i love my piercings and me and my friends were just there last week to get my friends nose pierced...it went so well and so fast that im going today to get mine done :]
i have not herd good things about this place and tattoos....maybe they have changed but i have no idea...i will always and forever go to Point Blank in the dells...they are expensive but i dont care.
i love their jewerly...but if you get a new industrial...MAKE SURE...that it is the right size for your ear and if not...make sure the one you got it pierced with has both balls come off...cause my original's balls dont come off
i love my industrial...tounge and soon do be nose :]
thakss
I have gotten all of my 8 soon to be 9 tattoos done here. I have only had a problem with one of the tattoos, due to my own fault of wearing jeans after i had gotten a hip tattoo done. I love the work that they do, they always have great prices, and they are very friendly, and actually talk to you while getting a tattoo done, instead of having an awkward silence the whole time. I would highly recommend this place!
I have gotten two tattoos both at Public Enemy along with one of my friends who has had 5 or 6 done there all of which turned out fantastic. The colors and shading were done beautifully. If anyone wants a great tattoo I would highly recommend this place and ask for Jeff, he is awesome
This was a few years ago, but still creepy. My best friend has had to get a different shop to fix both of the tattoos she got done here. Get this: the last tattoo she got was pretty big, so she got the black outline done first and was told to come back in 6 weeks for the color. I got my own tattoo touched up that same day. After my tattoo healed I was told by a Blue Lotus tattoo artist that the tattoo was done waaay too deeply and that my scarring was the Public fault. Enemy tattooer's We came back in to Public Enemy 6 weeks later and my friend's tattoo artist was "on a temporary unpaid leave of absence" BECAUSE HE WAS DRUNK AT WORK TOO MANY TIMES. Yes, you read that correctly. He was drunk while doing tattoos and they didn't fire him, they just didn't put him on the schedule for a few weeks. Even after all that, I didn't learn my lesson, so I went back to Public Enemy to have my tragus pierced. It went ok until I came in months later to get the jewelry changed. Keep in mind my ear was totally healed at the point, and changing the jewelry should not have hurt AT ALL. The "head piercer" helped me pick out my new jewelry, and when he was putting it in it hurt like hell. It hurt worse than when I first got it pierced. When I asked him why it was hurting so badly, he said "Oh, I didn't realize that this hoop is too big for the hole" (it was the wrong gage) and then he shoved it the rest of the way in. The entire left side of my face swelled up so badly over the next few days I had to have a doctor in the ER remove the earring (you could barely see it because my ear was so swollen). The doctor said he had never seen anything like what had happened to me and gave me very strong antibiotics because he assumed the earring wasn't properly cleaned before it was put in my ear.

I've been there twice to get two different tattoos, and they're both amazing! The pricing was perfect for the work that the artist did. I got a cherry blossom branch on my side and Chinese writing on my left foot. Both in which were done perfectly. Who ever thinks this is a wrong place to go must be CRAZY! Either that or you're a bunch of dummies that can't take care of a tattoo correctly or just too stupid to tell the artist what you like. The service was amazing, and the artists make sure you like whatever they're putting on you before they start on the real permanent ink. So I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking into getting a good quality tattoo.
My friend and I decided to go get tattoos one day. We were going to go to Blue Lotus- which in hind site would've been a MUCH better idea. But we were in Sun Prairie so we decided to go to Public Enemy. BAD IDEA! Both of us had a bad experience. She'll be going back to have it fixed, I however am not. I do hair so I got a scissors with a heart in the middle. One of the handles isn't lined up right and the pink that is supposed to be faded into lighter pink in the heart is a distinct line. It looks very elementary. This is permanent and now I have to have it done again so it is going to hurt worse than the first time. I wouldn't suggest anyone to go there.

I have not yet been fortunate enough to get a tattoo yet here but I have seen the place and it is everything you would want in a parlor.
I also have seen the Full Page ad in the Yellow Pages which is why I am writing this email. You must have spent over $1500-$2,000 a month for such an ad. Based on the quality of your studio and the high star ranking..you should be viewed as "The place to Go" for Tattos-piercing-etc...
I was wondering if I could sit and talk to someone involved in your advertising about a TV commercial? Spring is coming and more skin will be showing so now would be a good time. You paid to much for the Yellow page ad and could easily have :30 second TV ads run for much less. Please get back to me. Thanks.
I got a small tattoo on my wrist done at public enemy and they charged me 300 dollars for something that took an hour and a half!!!!!!!!! It was done to deep caused scaring and when ever i show it to another tattoo artist i get laughed at and they say it looks like a prison tattoo. They charged too much and did it very poorly!!!!!!
I would just like to say that I am beyond impressed with the service and tattoos I have gotten from public enemy. I have read some reviews of this place and was in a daze thinking this isn't the same place that I have been going to. so i finally got on-line to give them credit where it is NEEDED. I was more than happy with the work i have gotten done there and the prices i have been getting amazed me for the over the top work i have gotten. They always have gone above and beyond with the tattoos and fixing others i have gotten done at other shops. Talk about GREAT customer service. SO GOOOOOOO CHECK THEM OUT GIVE THEM A CHANCE PEOPLE THAT WERE THERE A YEAR AGO AREN'T THERE NOW ....GIVE THEM A SHOT I PROMISE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
