The decor- with that old stucco over older brick look- is very nice and inviting. Even the washroom was nicely redone. I give them a star for that. We wanted a pizza. But then we were confronted with 5 different crusts. The server did very little to help the cause, explaining that the "thin" crust was their thinnest. (duh) The next which she said was "a little thicker" was the "virgin", which we ordered, along with an appetizer. We were the only table seated, yet it took over a half hour to get our appetizer! Strike one, too slow. When the pizza finally came, it was a full 3/4 inch thick and almost ALL dough! The edges were nicely crispy, but the middle was too "cake-like" to be a pizza! The sausage was almost as bland as ground beef. Strike two. The sodas were another story. We ordered a Sprite, iced tea & Pepsi. The server made no correction on the Sprite (since they serve PepsiCo products) and all tasted "off". I tasted their water- also "off, iron-tasting. I asked the server, who said that the sodas are served through a fountain gun (using local water). Strike three. When the bill came, there was a charge for "OW $1.75. When I asked the server said it meant "Old World" (another pizza thicker) but was for the "virgin" pizza crust. She didn't mention any upcharge for the cakey dough when we ordered, and the menu mentioned nothing about any upcharge either. Strike four!!!!!!! Slow service, iffy pizza, poor water and questionable sales tactics. The local who recommended this place put them in the "top 25%" of local pizza eateries. Poor Kenosha! Oh- I almost forgot... it was impossible to hold a conversation in the dining room since the guys at the adjacent bar (really just part of the same room) were carrying so loudly that hearing each other was almost impossible. This place is definitely OUT!

This one's a must if you like ricotta cheese on your pizza. It is, without a doubt, our favorite.`
They have a nice, small menu offering traditional italian dishes.
