I was car shopping with my mother, and we were all over the city. The sales people at David Hobbs Honda made the car shopping a pleasant experience. The staff were very helpful and polite. We did not feel the high pressure sales vibe that one often gets when walking into a dealership. I would recommend David Hobbs Honda to anyone in need of a new vehicle.

David Hobbs installed 4 new tires and safety checked my vehicle- I assumed it was safe to drive from Milwaukee to Colorado. 3 days later I was on the interstate in Iowa and a front tire burst. The road service guy was suspicious as to why the belt was broken on a new tire. A few days later a large bubble appeared on another tire- took to a mechanic in Colorado and he said that it was "human error" due to tire not being installed properly.
The next day another bubble appeared on a different tire- took it to a different mechanic and had 4 new tires put on. Mechanic said that all tires probably ripped during improper installation process.
Phone call to Dan (service advisor) was a joke- said he would talk to his supervisor and call back-never did.
Phone call to Bruce (general manager) was also disappointing. He was unconcerned and said to contact Mike (parts manager). Mike sent tires out for inspection and 2 tire specialists agreed that they were installed improperly.
Without a doubt, my life was at risk riding on 4 ripped tires from Milwaukee to Colorado. My car was safer before David Hobbs worked on it.
I expected more concern for myself and future customers and will never return to David Hobbs.

My wife and I were looking for a bigger car, we had a set amount that we were willing to spend for a monthly car note. we looked around, found what we liked but it was more than what we were willing to pay, so they did there best on trying to find us something we would like and that was in our price range and they did. the car we were going to trade in had not many but a few damages that needed to be fixed so, the salesmen that was working with us, "TONY CORRAO" and his manager looked at the damages and stated that it would be no problem to fix them. " NO CHARGE" and we would also make the last car note payment. they made the last payment, but the damages that they said they were going to fix, they didn't, and my wife and I got a bill in the mail about a month later. We called TONY CORRAO, he acted surprised that we got the bill and said he would talk to his manager about it, 3 or 4 days went by, no call from TONY CORRAO. I called concerning the matter and to get a service added that was offered during the purchasing process and he said to bring the car in to get the service, got there and questioned him about the bill but his manager wasn't there at the time so he couldn't give me answers right then but said when you pick your car back up we should be able to at least give you an answer. I picked my car up and still no answer, he said he would give me a call in a day or two, about a week went by and no call from TONY CORRAO. I called him again but he was with a customer and said he would call me back in about 10-15 minutes, never called back and its been 2 weeks since then.the reason for getting the car we got was because we liked it, it was in our price range, they were going to pay our last car note on the old car, and we didn't have to take care of the damages, so they say. If we would have known we would have to pay for the damages, we would have got them done for more than half of what that bill was. We ended up paying the bill and still haven't heard from TONY CORRAO or anyone else from david hobbs. The deal we got was good but the service was the opposite, if you ever buy from these guys and they tell you there going to do something, get it in writing or you might end up with a bill in the mail.

I just moved to Milwaukee this summer and had to find a new service department for my 2000 Accord. I chose David Hobbs at first because it was the closest to my job but now I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've dealt with a man Dustin/Justin? two times and he was extremely friendly...even had a shuttle bring me downtown to work and back while my car was being repaired. The repairs were explained to me in detail and ended up being less than I anticipated. Great customer service and work on my vehicle! Thx. Jamie

I had struts replaced at 20k miles and again at 45k miles. I went in today at 69k (same noise/problem) and I am getting the "run-around".
I had to pay $115 just for them to diagnose, even with the platinum extended warranty. Of course my extended warranty will be up at 70k. Customer service is extremley rude.
I've bought 3 brand new hondas...2 CR-V's and one Civic...I WILL NOT BUY A 4th HONDA FROM DAVID HOBBS ...I might not even buy another Honda period!
Honda hides all TSB's and will not even tell you about any recalls for your year/make/model until they have your VIN. HONDA WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR KNOWN DEFECTS.
Shoddy product and even worse customer service!

I went to purchase a used Honda Accord. The sales rep was unable to intelligently answer any of my questions about the car. He had to ask his manager, Scott, for everything. I expressed interest in buying the car that day and requested a real number. Scott laid out a bunch of payment plans based on the sticker price. (Clearly not what I asked for.) When I asked simple questions about the payments, like what interest rate did he use to calculate the payments, he became upset, pounded his hand on the table and yelled at me. When I decided to leave, he got up too, slammed his chair into the table and screamed at me to get out! My overall impression of this dealership is that they are only interested in making a sale if they are dealing with someone who is completely ignorant and asks no questions, which allows them to rip you off. Fortunately, there are plenty of other dealerships happy to take David Hobbs' would-be customers.

I bought a '95 Accord there new, and I've never taken my car anywhere else for service. They have treated me like I just bought the car yesterday every time I walk in the door. I've owned plenty of cars before, so I know sh*tty service when I receive it. Bruce (GM) and Alicia(Service) are top flight customer service pros. They get the job done correctly, quickly, and cost effectively. I've had things happen to my car ( heat shield partially detached) that they analyzed and corrected at no cost. My wife's Chrysler dealer charged her $110 to remove it. Thanks to them, I've got 178k on the car without as much as a rattle.

I called David Hobbs to schedual an oil change, they told me I can leave a message and someone would call me back. I've never heard of leaving a message so they can set up an appointment for something as simple as an oil change...they never called back. Another time I went to the used car department to look at an Accord I wanted (EX-L V6 coupe w/ 6spd) they tried to sell it above KBB and NADA since it had after market parts; last I checked aftermarket parts take value away from a car.

I had an oil change at David Hobbs Honda. They failed to put sufficient amount of oil in my car. I did not realize this until my engine light and oil light came on. I put 4 quarts of oil in my car and the oil light went out.
I took my vehicle to Bolyand Honda to determine if there was any engine damage. Fortunately there was no damage.
I called the Service Department and tried to discuss the matter with a lady there (last name I believe is Norwood). While I was trying to let her know my side of the story, she hung up on me.
I then talked to Bruce and told him I was upset because she had hung up on me. At that time I was not concerned about the car, I was mad because she hung up on me. Of course he defended her. He was more concerned with not paying for any damage to my car another dealer was possibly repairing. At no time did I ask for compensation for any repairs. He just made that assumption. (We all know what assumptions are.)
I don't think he will contact me back on this matter. I know I will never use David Hobbs Honda and I will make sure I tell all my friends the same thing.

I took my car there for service and one of the technicians forgot to put the lug nuts back on my car and took it for a spin. the wheel fell off doing about 3500 in damages. I was in contact with the manager Bruce and he was a complete idiot about the whole process. I had to take it in 3 more times and threaten to sue them before they would fix my car. my recomendation, stay away from David Hobbs.

I dont use the word hate lightly, but I HATE David Hobbs.
I bought a used Civic from them and had nothing but a wonderful experience from sales and service. They very happily took my money. I liked my car and I was a thoroughly embedded David Hobbs customer until service retuned my car with a dent in the door. After that, I saw their true face. I got the run around from the Service Rep and the Service Manger. The Service rep told me I need to talk to the Service Manager. The Service Manger didnt return my calls. When I came in to confront her, she told me I needed to talk to the Service Rep. When I went in to confront him; he wouldnt even look at me.
My problem was escalated to the General manger. He engaged me in circular logic and we went around and around. He refused to take responsibility and told me he didnt like my attitude. I was rational up until this point. I lost my temper and got in my car and drove off vowing never to go back to David Hobbs or buy another Honda.
My opinion is, that they track how much money they make from each customer. When there is a disagreement, they determine if your business is worth the cost of settling the disagreement. Right or wrong be dammed. So if you are not going to finance a high end new car, take your business somewhere else.

I got an oil change and detailing done at DH and was very impressed. They had it done in a short amount of time and did a wonderful job! The employees were very nice as well. I'll definitely go back in the future!
