With recommendation I took my two Yorkies to Mukwonago Animal Hospital. It is a beautiful building, but I was not at all impressed with the service. The lobby was dirty and there were two piles of poop on the floor. The receptionists were yakking back and forth and hardly bothered to acknowledge me or my dogs. The vet was nice and knowledgeable, but no one acted like they "Liked" my dogs..and I , of course, love them. I now go to Bay View Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Schoenborn, Dr. Allyson and Dr. Gina are great! Everyone there is friendly and courteous. Lobby is clean and smells good. GREAT VET EXPERIENCE! at Bay View!

We started with Dr. Ladewig back at his first office by the Elegant Farmer and never looked back. He has always had time to explain everything to us, and given us options. But, when you ask him what would you do, he always would help with the decision you were comfortable with, whether it was surgery, tests, medication or the ultimate decision. With the addition of Dr. Herlugson, we had an appointment with him on a Saturday. I was so impressed, our beloved golden retriever had suffered a stroke and he was so caring and concerned about us as well. When we got our second golden we started seeing Dr. Herlugson on a regular basis and have had a great 15 year relationship. One great feature that these caring vets do, is that they will come to the house and put your family pet down. making it much easier than coming to the clinic and having to carry them home.
Unfortunately our relationship has come to an end, but if anyone new to the area is looking for a great bunch of people and vets Mukwonago Animal Hospital is the place to go for great care for your pet and also for you.

When we first moved to the Mukwonago area and got our first pup, I took her to Bay View Vet for her first check-up. I'll admit, I didn't do any research of area vets and was sorely disappointed by the negative experience at Bay View Vet. The straw that finally broke the camel's back was seeing another month of "spagetti" (worms), coming out of her butt and Bay View refusing to test for a negative fecal. They were more than happy to do the test at Mukwonago Animal Hospital for me, even though it wasn't my vet at the time...and I haven't looked back. 4 pets later and we're still going strong. My babies LOVE going to see Dr. Sherrod...she TRULY is the BEST!!!

Great place to take animals. They are very reasonable and caring. They have great boarding and grooming services. If you want your pet pampered and happy when you return from a trip this is the place to take them.

We have used this vet for our dog. It has very nice doctors and staff. You can tell they really love animals. The prices are a bit higher than others but the service and convience of the hours they offer for appointments as well as the caring they provide are worth it.
