This group is passionate about the community. In additon to giving and accepting anyone and everyone, they expose Kenosha to fine arts. Fun place to visit, or even take a class!

Lemon Street Gallery will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in 2009, a milestone for art organizations in general, and artist collectives in particular. The first thing you will notice when you enter the gallery is a welcoming, down-to-earth attitude. You will notice, too, that the diverse collection on display are all one-of-a-kind, original works of art by Midwest artists, and the prices are quite affordable.

Whether you visit Lemon Street to attend an art class, to browse the exhibits, or to buy artwork for your home or office, you will be warmly greeted and encouraged to take your time. If you have questions about the art on display or the artist who created it, you will receive honest answers by knowledgeable staff.

Behind the scenes, Lemon Street does its part in supporting the community by regularly partnering with other nonprofits, bringing arts-focused solutions to their vital work in gang diversion, diversity training, elder care, and more. Lemon Street offers many ways to get involved, as an exhibiting artist, a volunteer, as a donor and, of course, as an art collector!

If you haven't had a chance to visit this little gem hidden in what was the old north ward of Kenosha, it shouldn't be missed. A collective of over 60 artists who offer a diversity of orginal artwork. Painting, ceramics, jewelry, encaustic, glass, gourds, sculpture, metal works...there's just too much too mention. The gallery also offer some great classes, and I've taken a few...fun, professional, and great people. The best gallery I've found in this region of the country.
