Really pretty little place but just glorified chinese food. Fish cakes to start were little circles of some gray matter deep fried, no fish I could see, served with a cucumber relish which was actually very good (this I could have had on its own as an appetizer) don't know if there was any fish involved at all. Main courses were shrimp fried rice with almonds, good but any chinese restaurant would serve this dish, you just get a lot more of it here, they serve family style.Other main dish was kanchu chicken, three bresat of deep fried VERY tough chicken over cabbage and a few carrots with a very typical sweet and sour sauce, the first few bites tasted very funky like it was re- heated, not good. Water was hard to come by but if you had a beer they were quick to ask if you needed a refill.. I think the menu is way too big to be fresh, it had way to many options, bad sign! Took home the left overs and threw them out. Going to keep going to viet-pho type places, really honest fresh food, super disappointed in this place as I saw quite a few good reviews.

I have been a customer of Singha Thai for over 20 years and after going there last week I will never go back. The egg rolls were what I remeberred and the sweet n sour sauce is still good but that was it. I brought a restaurant com coupon and it was not good. I bought it that same day. I wasn't to upset about that I could understand how some miscomunication could happen so not a big deal. Orderred some of my old favorites including a beef salad served over a bed of cabbage, spring rolls, chicken salad served with leaf lettuce to make wraps, and chicken pad thai. I orderred for three people. The beef salad was bitter and greasy. The chicken tasted like it was precooked and several days old, spring rolls were premade soggy and seemed to be missing some ingredients. Instead of a bed of cabbage or a bunch of leaves of lettuce to make wraps. We received this insanely small portions of both and both were chopped. The beef should come with a fine shredded cabbage and the chicken with leaf lettuce to make wraps. Then they never even brought the Chicken Pad Thai. At least I can remember that for what it was. We came from out of state and just had to go hear. The service was dreadful. I left a lower percent tip than I have in years. I was prebussing the table myself. I had to stare down the waiter for five minutes to ask for leaf lettuce he brings out like three leaves and states that is all they had instock. If you've been hear and love it keep your good memories and don't bother going back. If you haven't don't bother.

Ten or fifteen years ago this was one of the best Thai restaurants in Milwaukee and was included on the some of the Milwaukee Journal's top restaurants in Milwaukee listings at that time. \r\n\r\nIt is not an omission that this place no longer appears on any best of lists. The food quality is no longer as good, service is slow and unattentive, the server just leaves a carafe of water at the table and seldom returns after the main course is delivered, and the prices are higher than at comparable restaurants.\r\n\r\nThe last straw was when this place offered coupons which do not expire on restaurantcom beginning a couple of months ago, they still currently appear on that website, yet they have a notice on their door stating they no longer accept these coupons! Figured it was worth giving this place another try after seeing and purchasing this coupon. Needless to say we walked out after we confirmed that it is true that they no longer honor the coupon I just bought! Sometimes restaurants discontinue participation in restaurantcom or other discount programs, but reputable places still honor non expired coupons that customers still hold!

I ate here for the first time on friday nd it was great. The food was delicious nd the service was good. I can't complain at all. What more can you really ask for: warm welcome, get your order taken, delicious food, then pay. I do recommend and will be going back.

we went there for din and the hostess was extremely unwelcoming. We felt like the staff couldn't care less that we were there. We will not go back to the restaurant and will not recommend this restaurant. They were extremely rude and that ruined the food and the experience.

Good Food Bad Service is the nickname family and friends have for Singha Thai Restaurant. The Mexican busboy is the friendliest in the place. The waiter has never come to ask how the food is- I am ever- no matter how many times I go there. They put a pitcher of water so they never have to refill any other drink. Staff sits around socializing and watching tv. best bet- do carry out- and they aren't friendly there either, but I don't have to waste a lot of tip $ for service i never get.

If you know anything about Thai food you will greatly appreciate Singha Thai's food. My favorite is the crispy basket - chicken. I order it medium. It has the most flavor I have ever tasted in a dish. The noodles and array of vegetables create a melodious flavor along with the sauce and the chicken. My Wife and Son greatly enjoy the Nanna noodles - beef. I have tried numerous dishes and have yet to be disappointed. TRY IT! You will enjoy!

I have to say this is the worst Thai Restaurants i have ever eaten at. Those that eat a lot of Thai food will understand what i am talking about. Food were salty, portion are small meaning a lot of veg and sauce but little meat and price are too high for the potion they're serving. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They do have good services but if you like Thai food try other places like Rice Palace

This is one of those restaurants where within a few minutes of being seated you're talking about how the food better make up for the service. Luckily, it does. I have to say that out any other Thai place in the Milwaukee area, which may have better service, I continuously return to this place... for take-out ;-)\r\n\r\n**The Beef Nam Tok (very spicy) and the Pad Thai are f'ing incredible.\r\n\r\nmmm...

This is a great place if you want to go beyond standard Chinese fare. They have two menus. Chinese and Thai. This is my wife's favorite Chinese place. She loves the General Tao's chicken. I like to venture into the Thai menu and everything I have had has been good. Be careful not to order things that are very spicy. If you don't tell them it will come a little hotter than you expect. Service is always good and we never have to wait for a table.

My co-workers and I thought we would enjoy a nice Thai lunch today... we were wrong! There was nothing right about this place from the minute we walked in the door and saw there were no other customers. First of all, there were no ""volcano"" dishes on the menu. What Thai place do you know of that doesn't serve volcano chicken or shrimp? Since there was nothing on the menu that interested us, we opted for the lunch buffet which, much to our surprise, consisted of cold Chinese food rather than the warm/hot Thai food one would expect from a Thai restaurant. Next, our waiter never asked us how our meal was. We assume this was because while we were eating lunch at our table he was across the restaurant at another table eating his lunch! Undoubtedly, he knew the food sucked and didn't want to hear us complain. Finally, the fortune found in my cookie read ""Made in the USA""! Perhaps a more appropriate fortune would have read ""Save your money and your time... eat somewhere else"". Needless to say, we will not be back.

Pros: No wait

My b/f and I got seated right away but we waited almost 20 minutes before the waiter even acknowledged us. We stayed anyway because there were 3 large groups there demanding most of the attention. Once our order was placed we got our food promptly but again had to wait for the check long after we finished eating. Food was excellent and waiters were very kind but I would be prepared to just order ""To Go"" if they're packed inside.
