Don't let the fact that you cannot locate the Ding-A-Ling Supper club (let alone Hanover, WI.) on your Garmin keep you away from a great dinner and a fun time.
We have been coming to the Ding-A-Ling for several years and have never had a bad meal.
If you arrive on a Friday or Saturday night, expect a wait for a table: Enjoy a great drink at the bar while waiting. My personal favorite is one of the best Bloody Mary's you will find anywhere. An added bonus are the reasonable bar prices to go along with the menu prices.
Great food, great drinks, great staff and a very casual atmosphere makes the Ding-A-Ling worth the trip to get there!
Don' t let the hole-in-the-wall appearance fool you. Great food, some of the best prime rib I've ever had, good stiff WI cocktails, all at reasonable prices. This is what the unpretentious, traditional family-owned supper club is all about, I would take this over a chain restaurant any day. Friendly wait staff, they always take care of you here. I tell everyone about the Ding-A-Ling.
Every time I have company from out of town or out of the country (or even by myself for a beautiful motorcycle ride) ...this is the place for authentic Wisconsin hospitality. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and the food is top rate! I have never gone wrong at the Ding a Ling....you won't either!
I was a little skeptical when I pulled up in front of the building. But my experience quickly changed!!! The food is fantastic and the staff were super friendly. I love these kinds of places....no flashy exterior....just great food and great staff. You can see where their priorities are....making sure their customers get the awesome food they come for. I had the fried chicken....and it was the best I had ever had before. Super crunchy and tasty...the gravy was delicious and the dumplings were perfect. Please try this place if you want a meal that is worth every penny!
Located about 8 miles west of Janesville on County H in the little berg of Hanover, this is the place to go for an authentic Wisconsin supper club experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is great. I highly recommend the BBQ ribs and the lobster tail. This is our go-to place for dinner on special occasions, as we always get a good meal here.
I have been going to the Ding A Ling for years. They still have the best Friday night Fish Fry I have ever gone to! Like the previous review said, it's worth the drive through the country to get to it in Hanover, WI.
This is a very small place but come with a big appetite! They have an awesome Friday Night Fish Fry. It is worth the little drive through the country!
