Sidney from Neroli downtown is amazing. She listened to what I was looking for, took her time, and was not afraid to be edgy and go out of the box. This girl has skills! I finally found a stylist I will return to! Highly recommend her.

I love this Salon! I've seen a couple different stylists and they always take the time to explain what they are going to do before hand. It always turns out exactly what I want - I feel great when i leave Neroli!!!

I was recommended to see dez for a hair cut and dye since I wanted to see someone with more experience. She was over 45mins late to take me for my appointment when my service was no better than the old corner salon I was going to!!! I will not be going back to see her since she didnt seem to care she was wasting my time and her prices are ridiculous!! if she is so experienced why did this happen!?!?

I went in for a massage and haircut in hopes of a relaxing spa day-- what I got was the farthest thing from relaxing. I was 5 mins late and told that I could not have the full body massage I had reserved. Instead I got a 30 minute upper back massage and the masseuse did not seem to have any sense of where my tension was or how to get rid of it. She told me we had to cut it short so I wouldn't run late for my hair appointment. I sat waiting for my haristylist for 15 minutes. My 'haircut and style' lasted a grand total of 30 mins. She barely cut anything off and although I asked her to straighten it I left looking like I had just gotten out of bed. I had to come home and re-do my hair myself before I could go out...this was a horrendous experience. I left feeling angry and cheated out of over $100. I don't think the masseuse or hairstylist wanted to be there and they certainly weren't in tune with me. Horrible.

Pros: None

Cons: Workers don't want to be there

I would honestly have to say that the services there are great. 5 Stars all the way. My only problem is that I know how management treats their employees and it is not acceptable.
As far as the good things go; the products they use are great, the services are amazing, and all of the technicians I have received services from have been more than accomodating. The employees are always going to education seminars. The facilities are also very nice.
However, what people have been saying on here is true. The people in charge are all family. So, no matter how bad the areas of management are, there is nothing you can do about it as an employee. Management will have meetings and tell employees to write positive feedback on this website. If you tell management what you think about the company's weaknesses you will get fired. If you do not like or agree with everything they say you will get fired. Management has a "no cattyness" policy that they make their employees adhere to. However, they themselves do not follow it. They tell their employees what they can and cannot do outside of work including who employees can and cannot be friends with. They even go to the lengths of monitoring employees' Facebook profiles to make sure they are not posting anything negative about the company or their job. Employees have been fired because of this. It seems to me that they are always on the defense. I guess management has to be with all of their ridiculous policies. The company has no sympathy for employees' family lives whatsoever. Employees' families have been reffered to as "sh*t" and "situations".
If you are an employee and are reading this review, ask yourself if you want to work for a company like this. Neroli was voted as one of the "Top Places to Work in Milwaukee". I find this ridiculous. To achieve this title, management had their employees take a "confidential" online survey so the company could be nominated as a "Top Place to Work in Milwaukee". Later, management looked up the IP addresses to see which employees answered certain questions negatively. Does not seem too confidential to me.
If you want a great spa service but do not care about giving your money to a company that is run on emotions and not ethics, I would recommend this spa. Also, the employees who work here do not get paid well at all. Just make sure to tip well.

Too big for their customers. I felt rushed and not pampered for my haircut. Something has gotten away from their scope. But the prices have gone up.

Perhaps they are overbooked, but I walked in for a haircut and was told they had time. Turns out they must have squezed me in. I wasn't in a hurry but the stylist was. Is that relaxing?

What people are saying is true, and the employee's are forced to write positive comments on here to boost their rating.

Seriously, this company needs to get it together, I don't know how they ever expanded as far as they did.

there is a lack of leadership and management in both the salons and beauty school. I was an advid customer until things seemed to fall apart. The staff seems confused and lost, with no management available to answer questions. An overall lack of professionalism, from the services by technicians to some of the staff memebers. My boyfriend hates going to these places because the staff has to be over animated, greeting you the moment you walk in the door with a cheesey line. The over all feeling he and I get is of fake politeness, and a sense of being forced to offer service through gritting teeth. It seems like the employees are afraid, as if they work for the same women in the movie "the devil wears prada".

overall, I will not support this company anymore. I have loved some technicians in the past, but since most of the good ones seemed to have left I can't help but wonder what's happening to them at this spa.At the spa I had my hair cut and colored, and it turned out terrible. Paying as much as they ask seems rediculous when the technician can't even cut my hair straight! Over priced as well.

I've been going to Neroli for my hair cuts and other spa services (massage, mani, pedi, etc.) for over two years. I have been extraordinarily satisfied with my experience and have had strangers ask me where I have my hair cut (honest to goodness!). I see Ashley at the Downtown location and she is exceptional. I truly love it there and find it to be one of the few places I can truly unwind, relax, and destress. Ultimately if others want to believe that employees write these reviews, so be it, but I've gone for myself over an extended period of time adn have been very happy with my experience.

I was apprehensive to go to Neroli in the 3rd ward at first because I had seen some of the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I did. My massage was amazing, and the atmosphere before and after my massage was most pleasant! Plus after my massage I was able to jump in the steam shower to really relax. I know some of you have mentioned that salon staff must be writing the reviews, well I do not work at Neroli, am a poor college student but would definitely say that getting a massage at Neroli is definitely worth every penny!

Over rated, over priced. Not enough attention to the small things for the $ paid.
Also did not see the feedback as positive info. I think they may need to change some management to be a bit more in tune with what the customer wants and listen to feedback.
Heard that it is a family run company and no one really cares

I agree with the other reviewer - salon staff must be writing the reviews. No one who has gone to this salon seemed happy.

The stylists are very inexperienced and really cannot do any consultation. Most of and customers were complaining the hair color itched and burned their scalp the night I was there.. I was one of about 3 people there that night complaining about the product. The stylists told three (!!) customers they would "add sugar" to the product and it was "all natural product "

The other customers I talked too said their hair was noticebly dry and brittle and they felt the place was an overpriced sort of "super cuts." There was little skill and no one felt their color or cut justified the cost or difficulty in booking an appointment through the "call center."

If I pay salon prices, I would like a salon and not a factory.

I was just like to say that 90% of the positive reviews here are posted by employees....
BECAUSE THEY WERE TOLD TO!!!!!!!!!!!
Nerolis employees are told at meeting to go on this site and post positive reviews, either as employees or pretend to be customers.
If thats how they treat their employees, imagine how they will treat you.
Please, take your business who will truly appreciate it

I was very excited when recommended to get a hair cut here. Been for facials and other services before and always nothing short of excellent. Extremely disappointed with my hair cut from the senior stylist. He asked if he could cut off an inch. I left with about 4 gone and my friends asking me who gave me the aweful layers. Ugh. I should have been forewarnes when my girlfriend went there last year and got a Bon Jovi mullet cut. She didn't wear her hair down for over a month after that. I guess I just think its your hair and no one has permission to do what they think will look good without your permission. It takes a long time to grow it out. I cancelled my color for the next appt. I'm sad because that part he may have done a good job at. Just refuse to let someone have another chance when they lost my trust the first time. Funny thing is it didn't look bad when I left the salon because he had spent an hour w an iron on it before I left. Like I have time to do that every day. And ihad said when I came in that I hate curly/girly hair and go for more edgy. Whatever. Spa services only for me from now on. Back to Matty at Erik or Beauty. . . Sorry

This is the first spa I ever went to and that was years ago. I have dipped and dabbled with others but none can compare in quality and service. Everytime you can expect the same treatment. I go to the downtown location. Upon arrival youre greeted with water or tea and a warm towel for your hands. As you wait for your team member to come and get you, you can look at all the Aveda products-which smell wonderful. Then your led to the changing room and finally to your services. I think what really has me coming back time and time again is the service. You will always get the same level of quality service. I never had to worry about how clean or sanitary it is. I never had to complain or felt uncomfortable. I have always been able to relax my stresses away with Neroli. Thank you Neroli for having such high standards!!

I get my hair cut with Kimberly at brookfield and i always enjoy my experience. I have been seeing her for two years now and she recommended that i see Jill for nails. She bragged about what a great job she did, so i had to try her out. I couldnt be happier i always look foward to coming to neroli. The girls always make me smile, and forget about the stress in my life.

I've been going to the Neroli in Brookfield for years and just thought I'd share my experience with others who may have not tried one of the Neroli's yet. Every time I come here it is a truly a wonderful experience. The front desk girls are so friendly and truly seem to care about my needs. They greeted me so warm and friendly that it kind of surprised me...you just don't see that much anymore. I love all of them but I recently had a facial with Erica who was so fabulous and sweet. I also had a Spa Mani/Pedi with Alex who also was so talented and nice. The one thing I like most about this place is the amount of services they offer, I definitely intend to try all of them. I've yet to have a service that wasn't extraordinary!

If you are looking for semi-private yoga lessons, Neroli at Bayshore has a fabulous Iyengar instructor. Jason is a skilled, professional instructor who caters the class to the individual needs of the students. It is a fun workout that will keep you coming back for more, whether you are old, young, advanced or a beginner. I have taken many yoga classes in the past, and this is the first instructor who has kept me interested and excited. I couldn't recommend him more highly and the price is extremely reasonable. If you have any interest in yoga, you must take a class with Jason!

I'm in a wedding tomorrow. I tried to make an appointment last week with Kim at Bayshore, who gave me a great haircut last month, but she was totally booked. I asked if anyone else is available and the receptionist on the phone set an appointment with Maya for 9:00 am. What the receptionist didn't tell me was that Maya works in Brookfield. Am I suppose to know this? When I showed up at Bayshore, neither the receptionist or the manager could offer me any explanation. They told me "I wasn't in the computer" and "the computer could have been acting up or they could have made a mistake". Weak apologies and weaker explanations don't make my hair look good in my friend's wedding pictures.

I recently moved to Milwaukee and had been asking around for recommendations about where to get my hair done. I'm sort of picky, so I asked a LOT of people their opinions. I kept hearing about Neroli over and over. When I asked where they were located I was happy to hear they had a location at Bayshore and the Third Ward!
When I walked in I was promptly greeted with a smile and hot tea. The girls at the front desk were really helpful, and were happy to answer all my questions. They treat you really well when you are there. And my guess as to why they refer to you as a "guest", is because they treat you like you were a guest in their home. You get an awesome shoulder massage and then scalp massage with your shampoo! My hair turned out fantastic and I've already booked my next couple appointments.
I recommend Neroli to everyone who asks, and after visiting both of the locations closest to me, I understand why so many people told me to go there!

The first time I walked into the 3rd ward location,I was unsure on how to feel, everyone was in black and extremely attractive. But, they are sooo nice and sweet. Neroli does have a call center, so you are not calling the front desk directly, but if go enough you get to know the people that work in the call center and they get to know you and they will do everything they can to get you in. One time when my stylist was booked, I asked them if there was anything they could do, they said they would get back to me and they got me in! The owner was in the salon one day and she seemed very interested in talking to the people that were getting their hair done, very approacable. I am getting married next year and cant wait to have them do my hair! They will even arrange limo's and food for you!

DHUR.......KWOF is closing and most of there emploees where trained at Neroli's school in Downtown

Pros: open 7 days ,online booking ,rewards program

Cons: price and need to schedule in advance

.

I work at Bayshore and was excited to have the Neroli Salon open there.... until I went there.
The front desk staff was so snotty! I was quoted a price and was charged double (they needed to use an extra amount of color for my chin length bob). My hair was purple (not the color I wanted by any stretch of the imagination). The stylist ran out of time and had another client waiting and left me with dripping wet hair, sent me on my way with a, "it will look cute curly." I spent over $100 to look like a wet dog. I was so embarassed when I got the bill I paid and left. The next day I came back and asked why I had been charged double the price I had been told (they never said anything during the service) --and my hair is NOT long... they looked at me like I was crazy and told me I needed more color. I heard one woman say, "What's HER problem?" Well, lesson learned. Like I said, I work at Bayshore... I have for seven years and have a lot of customers who ask me about Neroli... I tell them about my experience and send them to Kwof. I have never been there but the stylists come in all the time, they are nice and friendly and I have gotten many thank yous. Neroli has really made their bed.

Pros: location

Cons: attitude, quality, attitude...

First of all, I would just like to say that I work for the Neroli company. It is a great place to work and a great place to get services. I highly recommend going there. One of my friends got her hair colored at another salon in the area and paid over $200, she got the same thing done at Neroli after I recommended her, for less than half the price and said it was the best color she ever had. As for the previous negative comments, I would just like to say that its sad that former scorned employees would write such outlandish comments. Its obvious that they weren't doing their jobs correctly and were terminated because Neroli holds such high standards. Neroli is one of the best salon and spas to go to when you want to relax and get a great service whether its a massage, facial, or hair. Everyone really works hard at what they do and they are all wonderful. If you don't believe me, then go to the Bayshore location and go see Kanin to get your nails done. If he can't please you and make your day great then no one can, he is amazing. When someone has a bad experience, they are more likely to tell everyone they see than if they have a great one. The front desk girls are probably some of the nicest girls you will meet. The previous comment about the IBW staff asking if you need a bag for small purchase is because the company is trying to be as green as possible, and follow the Aveda mission. If putting a few products in your oversized purse is a problem, we would be happy to give you a bag. Guests are always top priority at Neroli and IBW, we strive to make your experience as wonderful as possible. If you are reading this review and decide to visit and are happy with your experience, it would be very much appreciated if you left feedback about it. With over 50,000 guests to date, I understand that it is hard to please everyone, but there is a reason that we make the top salon and spa list in the nation every year.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Sometimes its hard to get in, but thats not a bad thing because they are obviously doing something right

Neroli is by far the place to go in the city for great services and relaxation. I first went to Neroli (brookfield) for a spa day and didn't know what to expect. I had the BEST experience I've ever had at a Spa! I had the Neroli Facial with Bridgette and Neroli Massage with Michael..both were exquisite. From the moment I was greeted with a warm cup of Aveda tea, to completing my services, everyone was so wonderful and inviting. I felt like family. I would recommend everyone to come and experience Neroli. I truly believe they are the best thing this city has to offer!!!

Pros: Highly educated staff, 5 star service

Cons: hard to get into on Saturdays

Michael at brookfield is incredible. normally I would not see a man for a massage but Michael is worth every dollar you spend. I go whenever I get a chance. Holly is also great for mens haircuts.

My friends bought me a gift certificate for this salon for my birthday! After reading the reviews here I went with no expectation of great service, and I couldnt had been farther from what I got! from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with coffee! Jennifer did my salt body scrub and was amazing! I then had my haircut by Joseph! He is truly an artist of hair! I came home and had tears of joy at how young and slim he has made me look! I travel alot and have been to my fair share of aveda salons! this is by far the best I could have even hoped for! even ruth who was mentoring under joseph and did a conditioning treatment on my hair was great! massaged my hands and head! I couldnt say enough great things about my experience! Thanks Joseph! I cant wait for my next adventure with ya!

Never have I worked with such amazing technician's who live in fear of voicing any opinions or concerns, due to the Administrative office and upper management. During orientation they should tell you that your opinion matters...only if it is the same as "Neroli's". If you want to take a trip back to memory lane this is the place to work it will bring you back to your grade school days were finger pointed and tattle tailing was acceptable. Neroli seems to have forgotten the GOLDEN RULE, kindness is contagious! You want appositive atmosphere create an open environment and listen to your staff members there human not robots! For the LOVE get with the 21 century!

well here it is... first off i went to school at IBW and i would like to say i should have gone to MATC and spent half the money. i was very disappointed with most of the teachers and also with the staff. very unfriendly almost like it's bad to be nice there. sounds fun huh? it seemed everyday they had to complain about me doing something wrong, and when i was trying to learn and really ask questions, i want the answers to, i would get written up, i am pretty sure it wasn't just me. learning is supposed to be fun, not making sure a teacher will write you up because you asked the wrong question. come on, this is supposed to be the best!

most of the girls at the front desk are so rude and snobby. what's your deal? aren't you supposed to be helping me? a girl and the front desk actually handed me a bag to put things in i had purchased, i had to ask her for a bag. not cool.

as for neroli, i have received many treatments there and they do not follow instructions on what they should be giving you in their treatment, in other words, cutting corners.

on the up side i did have a lovely time with bella! wonderful lady!

what a joke! i was supposed to get a good education from learning from these women! get off your high aveda horse and stop acting like this is grade school, we are adults not children! some respect for us all please.

Cons: dirty work spaces, who else is using this wax?

Previous writers are correct. Amazing how you can tell when an owner writes a glowing review. Only a robot trainer working for Neroli would refer to customers as "guests". I have obtained services at both Bayshore and downtown. The front desk staff at Bayshore was so nasty and unfriendly that I felt uncomfortable from the moment I stepped in the door. The stylist was the only reason I ever returned and without fail I was treated poorly by everyone in the place, except the stylist. I don't credit Neroli with the talent of the stylist, she earned that on her own. I tried downtown hoping to find a friendlier atmosphere, unfortunately not the case. With the excception of one young lady at the front desk, everyone seemed angry to work there. After reading these reviews I now understand why. And what validation for parking downtown...I was never told of this and I have been there several times. I always try to give people more than one chance and I did so with both locations. Consistantly poor customer service, consistantly unpleasant people (with one exception) and for a salon trying to pass itself off as high end....dirty, dirty, dirty. Sorry Mindy, you lost my business because of who you work for. I will not be treated so poorly when I am dishing out top dollar.

Pros: That I won't be going there anymore.

Cons: The entire place.

Bar none, the worst experience of my life.....I would have been better off going to a beauty school for a haircut. The "Senior" stylist who chopped off my hair listened to NOTHING I said regarding my lifestyle, needs or wants. She cut 8 inches off my hair and then gave me an uneven, choppy, NOTHING style. One side was 2 inches shorter than the other. When I went back for a repair, from the "head" stylist, she actually CHUCKLED and said that she couldn't find a "line" to the cut and that it would take 18 MONTHS, at least, to grow out decently!!!!!! When I demanded my money back, they gave me a GIFT CERTIFICATE! As if I would EVER set foot in that hellhole again.....Please people, do NOT waste your time, money or sanity at this place. It is a disaster waiting to happen........Also, everyone knows that Aveda color is the worst---turns blonde hair orange and fades faster than drugstore color....

Way to go Luvelife! Your speaking from the heart and I love it. And by the way, everything that has been said on here as far as complaints go is 1000% true! Too bad Neroli, but seems as though "perception is reality". You had to expect that phrase was going to come back to haunt you. Te he he. I hate to admit it but the "Pretty Woman" comment is very true too. Get the poles out of you keesters Neroli robots; customers deserve sincere human treatment. Isn't that the backbone of any customer service-driven industry? Seems like no one at this place including the figure heads that run the place realize that.

Pros: I really like the variety of services available

Cons: The price is a little too high for what you get. No incentive for regulars to continually book with them. Their automated confirmation system is a Brit. Whaa? We are in MILWAUKEE, WI

FINALLY! People are speaking the truth about this ridiculous company! It is so frustrating to think that Neroli can continue to treat both their "guests" and staff like they do and it won't catch up to them! I can also say with confidence that too many staff members have left in this past year! It's astounding! Most of these people were fantastic employees who thankfully realised that they were wasting their time. (and money, since payroll was NEVER correct.) They're running out of people to hire in this city and people can't run away fast enough! And if they haven't left yet, they are either too afraid, or they got brainwashed from the upper management which consists of 3 sisters (first mistake!) that would rather yell at you than smile at you. Never have I witnessed such a lack of respect towards kind people that work so hard to please others. I write this review to save those that are unaware of this insane company, before they make the mistake of applying for a job or booking their next spa service with Neroli. PLEASE, don't undervalue yourself! I find it quite comforting to know that slowly but surely, Neroli is crumbling. It will be very interesting to watch it all unravel. Thank you for the entertainment, I'll be sure to keep tuning in! :)

Have you ever seen the movie Pretty Woman? Remember the part where Julia Roberts walks in to the store on Rodeo and is snubbed by the snooty staff? No need to travel all the way to Beverly Hills when you can get that right in the heart of the Third Ward on Chicago Avenue. I have never felt so invisible and unwelcome in a spa in my life. I was greeted very coldly and had very cold reception from my technicians. I swear if I would have walked in to any other spa in the area and dropped the kind of money I did that day I would have had a much warmer response. I arrived at least 20 minutes before my first appointment was supposed to start and my services were rushed. Sorry you are having a bad day ladies, not my problem. I am so done with this place. People come to a spa to feel better about themselves not to feel like they are a nuisance.

Pros: Nice location - good for those who work downtown

Cons: What is up with the staff? Isn't Milwaukee a little too Mid-West to have Euro Trash attitude?

I have been here numerous times for massages and facials. I can not afford to go more than 1-2 times a year but it is worth it. From the minute you walk in the door you feel pampered. I have recommended them to all my friends and family.

Wowiee! The unhappy employees and guests are speaking. But isn't that most of them anyways? Amazing how a company that cuts corners, lies, with holds money from its employees and cheats most of its customers out of a "five star" experience still makes it on "The 25 Best Places to Work in Milwaukee". Let me shed some light on this situation. Since January 1 of 2007 a little more than 40% of the staff have quit. Wow, they really have it going on! It is so true that they make you live in fear whether you'll be fired for no reason or fear quitting because you simply cannot tolerate their poor values and business practices. You could disregard everything I am saying but rather I welcome you to investiagte this company, ask around and you too will hear similar sentiments. Go in to any salon in Milwaukee, say the name Neroli and sit back and hear the horror stories. Funny but sad. Funny because it is all true sad that upper management continue to make exorbitant amounts of cash and the employees eek by when they are truly the ones bringing in the money. Anyone aspiring to work there? Don't! Get punked around somewhere else. Better yet, get treated and compensated respectfully somewhere else. Getting the last word in is truly one of the best things in life, isn't it :)

Pros: Locations are pretty nice. Especially Bayshore, too bad they can not afford it.

Cons: They lie through their teeth. Hefty price tags for their services. Not accomodating to groups.

Don't let the 5 star rating by silvacarlene fool you people! That comment was written by Neroli and The Institute of Beauty and Wellness' Director of Communications. Carlene, at least have the decency to attempt to conceal your identity if you're going to make it sound like you are a regular guest. Sure, you frequent all the locations to recieve services, but not without an agenda. The only reason that you are treated with warmth and courtesy is so that you don't run back to the administration office to gossip to the neurotic management. I hardly believe you are shocked to hear the negative reviews since you deal with this on a daily basis. Sure, you've handled their complaints, but not with sincere concern - more like how sincerely fake you can possibly be. Also, take a business writing class and learn how to proofread before sending emails or letters to guests. I've never seen such terribly written communication from a company that prides themselves on stellar service. I do agree with you on one point - the talented staff. It's not their fault they work for an extremeley poorly run company. They have to live in fear that every day they come to work might be their last day for some undocumented reason or they won't have all the products needed in order to accomplish their job. Guests should feel the comfort that they are going to recieve a top notch service when the service is at a premium. When you come to Neroli, you won't get this because the technicians are limited to the products they can use or have, since the company cuts back on many things due to high costs. Maybe this should have been considered before building yet another $2 million location. That money could be put to good use to update the quality of robes, linens, equipment and facilities of IBW and other locations. If you love Aveda, find a new salon/spa on the Aveda website. Spend your hard earned money somewhere that actually values you as a client. Susan Haise only values your dollar.

I moved to Milwaukee recently and was recommended to Neroli from a neighbor. I am very happy to have found this place because it reminds me of where I was going back home. Its very modern, the people at the front desk are always very welcoming and I leave looking and feeling wonderful! My ony complaint was that being new to the area I did not know the front entrance. I arrived at the back down and had to be escorted to the front. It was kind of ackward when everyone looks at you. Beside that, I strongly recommend checking out the place!

I was shocked and surprised when I read the negative reviews. I've been receiving services from Neroli downtown for years and was thrilled when they opened their Brookfield and Bayshore locations. The talent of their staff and their training programs are outstanding - I've "bounced around" from one tech to another due to my crazy schedule and always receive outstanding service whether I'm receiving a manicure, massage, or haircut. I'm consistently treated with warmth and courtesy by their reception staff and reservation center and on the rare occasion an error occurred with an appointment or service they've handled my complaint with sincere concern and resolved it immediately.

My friends and family also go to Neroli - in fact we trade gift cards at almost every holiday and it's a joy to receive - and I've never heard any of the feedback I see here. My sister hosted her entire bridal party in Brookfield on her wedding day and it went off without a hitch!

It must be true that people are 100 times more likely to complain on-line than to compliment so I'm happy to add my compliments about this truly outstanding company! They've even just added on-line reservations to make life easier for those of us juggling kids, work, and crazy schedules as well as a rewards program to earn free products and services - I hope you give them a chance and decide for yourself.

Pros: Numerous locations, can get every service, validate parking downtown

Cons: Lockers at Bayshore could be larger.

There is so many things, where do I begin. Well, let's start with go somewhere else! No joke. I don't think the value is there. If I spend the money I want the quality of the service and level of expertise to be there. The robes for my costly service were rags and the equipment for the services I had done were out-of-date. What the heck am I paying premium dollar for then? I had a fire alarm go off during my massage at Bayshore. The staff seems upset all of the time. Maybe because they are being treated the same way the clients are? Just a guess. So other than the overpriced services, run down facilities, fire alarms, services booked incorrectly and moody staff, what the hey, come on down! You'll be sure to see my smiling face there! Go to your local Super Cuts and or Fantastic Sam's ( for all you patriotic folks) and experience the same level of "excellence".

Pros: There always available when my salon can't fit me in

Cons: Well, did you read my review?

Funny how you can totally tell when an employee is posting a review about their salon...its the only positive review among all of the other reviews of clients who had to compromise or loose out on a professional and enjoyable experience. Let me break it down for all of you; when a company grows to this size and forgets about all of the "kinks" it needs to work out at its existing locations its not worth your TIME or MONEY. Everything is an inconvenience to the staff. Policies, services, prices, expectations are always fluctuating. My co-worker received a whole hair color free because she changed her mind and I have had multiple appointments lost because of their incompetent staff and I got jack! I don't want anything for free I just want some one to accomodate me to the best of their ability and apologize. As I have tried to keep my patience with this company I have realized there is no use putting faith in to a company that does not give a rip about their clients. We may live in a smaller urban area, but don't forget folks you are surrounded by awesome salons and spas like Carenza, VICI Capelli, GAIA Microspa and Actea just to name a few. Get out there and see what talent and service is like...Leave Neroli in the dirt where they belong.

Pros: Locations

Cons: Everything else about Neroli

I've had a wonderful experience every time I come in and I must say, its because of the people. I'm sort of a spa junkie and have had my hair done, manicures, pedicures, massages, facials (you name it) all around town and I always come back here.

Erin has done a fabulous job with my cut and color, which I always get compliments on. And I can't say I've ever had a bad spa service with anyone I've seen! In fact, if there is ever something that needs "tweaking" or isn't my quite my style, they've always been quick to make any necessary adjustments, no questions asked.

I have a feeling with the previous reviews, there were a few disgruntled "former employees" venting here...reminds me of retaliatory feedback on Ebay, if ya know what I mean! But everyone has the right to their opinion, I guess!

I also try out other spas and while I enjoy the treatments, there always seems to be something that goes wrong, but they always get it right at Neroli!

I had booked appointments for my entire bridal party and me to have manicures, pedicures and updo's for my wedding, plus I was having my make-up done. I scheduled well in advance (thank goodness!) a 'trial run' for my hair and make-up. When I went in for the trial run I was informed that we were not going to be able to bring in any snacks on the day of the wedding but were welcome to purchase expensive trays of sandwiches from them. Also, they had remodeled and eliminated any sort of "private" room for the bridal party to hang out between services.

The girl who did my "updo" ran out of time after an HOUR and I wound up with a half-pinned, half-curled MESS! She then sent me to the make-up person who didn't listen to a word I said about what colors worked for me. ("Dark lipstick makes my lips look small." 'Well let's just try it.... oh you're right.') ) I left looking like I wasn't even wearing makeup and with a halfway, pathetic attempt at an updo. At least the manager agreed to give me a discount on the price.

I immediately cancelled all the appointments for me and my bridal party. Thank goodness I found out in time so it didn't ruin what turned out to be a magical wedding day! (Thanks to the fantastic stylists at Gaia Salon & Spa in Greendale who really saved the day!)

This place is not the place to go if you like great customer service and appreciation or even if you like an experienced technician with a plesant attitude for that matter. The staff all consist of very arrogant stuck up young females who could care less about you enjoying yourexperience. I was told the price for my servces would total $140 and when it was time to pay, they charged my credit card $280! When i asked about it, they simply said that someone "misquoted me on the phone when i made the appt". This is completely unacceptable to charge me double because of a mistake one of their employees made. Then the had the nerve to ask me if i wanted to leave a tip! What an insane bunch of people. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Go somewhere where you will be respected and appreciated without being pressured to bu all their silly little spa products that will do the same thing as a over the counter beauty product from wal mart.
