My daughter went to Salto and it was a very bad experience. They scheduled make up classses for my daughter and then refused to let her participate. She had to wait for an hour in their offices and then not get a phone call. When you ask somebody at the reception they never have an answer and always refer to the general manager who is rarely there. Do not recommend this club.

I went to the salto dance in Brookfield for a while and stopped because I wasn't in their company program. Its not as though I wasn't good enough (anyone who auditions makes it)Its that I wasn't planning on paying $300+ every single month for a dance program that isn't even all that great. I was also really sick of people who are frequently referred to as "ballet moms". These would be parents who watch their daughter in every class and make sure that their daughter gets all sorts of attention and progresses too quickly, critiques her skills, etc. Although I realize that this happens in every dance studio, one came up to me before the spring "recital" and told me a list of things that I need to do to look better (like wear lip gloss and smile-nothing to do with my dancing) and then told me that the other girls in the class were better than me because they were in company. Not exactly what I would call encouragement and also not at all the level of maturity that I would have expected to come from a grown woman with a daughter.
There was also one class during the year where we didn't dance at all the entire class- we talked about "stuff" for a full 60 minutes. some parents might be OK with that, I found that a waste of $20. They also allow parents to view classes, which to me is frustrating because I don't like being watched when I'm dancing

My kids have been going to Salto for many years, both boys and girls. They have always had a good experience and loved their time there. The staff are great with kids. The original owners are still active in teaching and are wonderful. We have been through the tiny tot program and the developmental program. It is a little pricey but comparable to other gymnastics programs. We moved a few years ago and Salto is now a 35 minute commute for us. We left Salto for a year to go to a gym closer to our home and were disappointed with their approach to safety and level of skill. We are now back at Salto. Even with the commute, it is worth it.

My daughter enjoyed going here. It is quite pricey if your not going to be in their elite gymnastics program. Her overall experience was alright. She chose not to continue.

Great programs for children of all ages. they are very caring of the students and more than willing to work with all ability levels. have had a number of national level gymnasts from their program. May be a bit pricey - compared to the YMCA - but a great program.
