Well, I can't say that I'm disappointed (everyone says this place is a must try) but man, the fish fry was dead-nuts average. It was overpriced for starters but the portion was large. However, if it tastes average, do you really want a large portion? We went around 5ish and then took in an Admirals game (that was great though). We waited quite a while for our food and it wasn't really worth it.

However, my companion had the balsamic chicken and she liked it and I thought it was OK. I will return to try something else thought. This place wasn't so unappealing that it doesn't deserve a return visit. Other things on the menu seemed enticing.

Cons--Don't have any at this time besides a bit pricey
Pros--Location to a good nightlife, Menu

I had the Friday fish-fry at lunch. The food was OK, but it was priced a bit high for a lunch ($14.95 for the fish plate and $5 for a beer). Not too bad overall, but there are many better lunch deals in downtown Milwaukee.

Pros: historic, televisions, good beer selection

Cons: overpriced, average fish-fry

I went to this restaurant before going to a bucks game, thinking it would be a good idea considering it is located right across the street from the bradley center. Myself and 3 other people arrived there at around 5:45, plenty of time to get out of there by 7:30 or so we thought, we were given a buzzer by an anxious man at the front entrance and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. We waited for 45 minutes, it took our food another 45 minutes to get out and was defninately not worth the wait.

I was with a group of 7.. we started with some Nachos, Herbed Stuffed Mushrooms, and Onion Strings, mmmm! I ordered their ribs.. 1/2 order.. just the right amount and delicious. Three people of my group ordered the Shrimp Capellini, which looked and were said to be great! And to top it all off Chocolate Lovin' Spoonful Cake. Oh Boy!! ----Parking was no problem.. but DO use the adjacent parking lot and not any of the parking meters. You end up paying about the same, but need to jet out every 50 minutes or so. So enjoy and relax!
