He is a very very very horrable and terrable person and people shouldn't keep letting him get away with treating other people like crap.He lets drug dealers and theifs live in his apartments who are mean and crule to the other people that live in the apartments.I know someone that was bothered by them and moved because they kept getting away with crap.He is lower then low when it comes to people. He also sells smokes and acholic drinks to minors in his stores. He will follow you around all day just to make sure he knows all your business. He price in his stores are way to high...and he makes an living ruining other peoples lives around there. If you don't know him trust me stay away from him and DO NOT RENT FROM HIM.I know someone who has reported him to the city for his unsafe houseing and stuff I heard they didn't go without a bathroom for a week because he refused to fix there bathroom towlet which had been messed up for over a year and finally it was sinking into the floor and leaking into a downstairs apartment.I even heard he turns people water or power off for being late on the rent.Which is also illegal. He cares more about he's stupid wine and how much he seels then the people that work for him which he cheats all the time.He is so tight on money it ant even funny now wonder people keep quiting I mean if you mowed a yard worth 40 dollors and he only payed you ten would you be mad too..yeah.He just needs to be shut down and some people need to really get up in his face and tell him off and the city of huntington needs to stop protecting this jerk.He needs to be shut down and so should he's apartment buildings he is doing illegal things there.

My experiences at Julian's have been less than pleasant. The employees are a delight and very helpful. Julian however has been very rude and not at all good to deal with. I personally will not shop there ever again because Julie doesn't even begin to understand customer service. Since he bought the market the clientele has changed to less than desirable due to his character and business practices. I hope others will join me in my boycot of his market and rug store. I would rate this store lower than one star if it were possible.
Just yesterday Julian decided I had insulted him. The coward waited until I was block away before shouting at me. I couldn't understand him because of the distance. What a load! Please don't shop there.
My boycot now numbers more than 28 individuals and families and has cost Julie more than $68,000 at his little rug store. We are shooting for more than $100,000 at his market. Some folks only understand $.

One man's opinion: I wish Julian (the owner) would take the long view, and hire a team of employees who understand the present and who see the future of the local grocery market: i.e. real food, real cheap, real easy. If it were mine, I would tear the building down, and the house behind it, and build a real market, with enough of what the local population needs, and with enough marketing savvy to create the volume he needs, and to establish a market that can compete with... dare I say it? Yes, I dare... Kroger. This community is dying for an upscale full service grocery. Screw "spirits" - small potatoes. Give me food, and the right kind of food for this market. We can only shake our heads and wonder at what he's doing, or not doing... My best advice: Take a vacation to Ashville, Mr. S, and take a look at tomorrow.

I've been a fan of Mansour's for years, but it's only gotten better. After the Saads purchased the market, they reorganized the small space and now it feels much, much larger. It's easier to find whatever you need, and they still have the same interesting selection of foods. I buy produce and speciality products here, such as lentils, beans, spices, etc. I find the produce prices are comparable to the larger chains, and often better. I also love their deli and meat departments. The steaks are always great, the sausage fresh, and the deli department can't be beat. Julian's has great deals on loose spices packaged in deli containers, so if you like to replace your spices regularly or just need to expand your spice wardrobe, it's a great place to shop. They also have great selections of rice, dried beans, olives, cheeses, and ethnic foods - middle eastern and indian. Be sure to check out the authentic pitas and the gourmet tortillas. Julian's "regular" groceries are a bit overpriced compared to local chains, but they are competitive in produce and in specialty products. If you're looking for something special, love to cook from scratch, or just like to try new things, Julian's is the best grocer in town.

PROS: Selection, Service, Variety, Produce, Spices
CONS: Price
