I advise anyone who loves there animals to take them elsewhere. I took my dog of 10 years (Baby Girl) there after she developed sudden lameness. Dorcey elected to run my bill up ($238.50) with services and meds which were useless to a terminally ill animal and did nothing to treat her immediate symtoms and pain. Rather than advise me that it was most likely terminal bone cancer, he told me to come back in a week (more $$) at which time he was apparently going to tell me about the cancer. I found out shorty after the visit that the symtoms, age and breed pointed directly to the most likely cause being bone cancer and that it should of been the 1st area examined and treated. I am appalled that he elected to see how much money he could extract from me rather than make the diagnosis and give my Baby Girl something to make her more comfortable during her final days. He also would not give me a detailed statement for the charges and did not offer any explanation for his unethical actions except writing a note stating "she did have worms". Well the fleas and worms died before she did since the host "Baby Girl" was ate up with cancer and only lasted 10 weeks after this horrible visit. Baby Girl was part of the family and will be missed for years to come. Her final days could of been more comfortable if Dorcey cared about treating the animal rather than charging money for services useless for a dying animal. I will never give up my quest to make sure no one else suffers through the same situation. Take your animal to someone who truly cares about treating the animal.

I worked there while in college and took my dogs there. They did great. They are concerned about your friends(pets). When my buddy was hit by a car they check him out real good and gave him some pain meds.

The staff and Doc Dorsey provide a wonderful and caring atmosphere. I have been taking my pets to them for 15 years and feel like they are family. Prices are good.
