Ginger's Designer Apparel

My friend is getting married in less than 2 months, and her first formal fitting was today; she asked me to come along and was encouraging me to try on dresses for my wedding next year. I was skeptical, of course, but the sales associate insisted. After trying on 2 or 3 dresses that none of us felt were "me", she had an idea for a halter top, off white gown that wasn't too prissy... it was like she knew exactly what I was thinking, and nothing shy of stunned could describe the looks on their faces. I had found my dress. Sure there was flattery, but I know when people are b.s.ing me. I couldn't be happier with the selection, and though the environment isn't as elegant as one would hope to shop for their dress in, it was at least reasonable and personable. I'll recommend Ginger's to anyone who asks.

It may not look like much from the outside, but as a pageant girl, I assure you they have a great selection! Ginger hand selected the gown that I purchased (which I got for a steal), after my pageant, I was told by a judge that it was one of the top gowns in the pageant (it was an America pageant) I will definately go back to Ginger's for my next gown.

Are they going to bring you a glass of wine as soon as you walk through the door and treat you like a princess? No, they aer a simple mom and pop shop....I just purchased my wedding dress there and they were more than hospitable, of course they are going to tell you you look great in everything, wouldn't you if you were working on commission? I love my dress...I thought they were great, and for the price that I paid on my $1300.00 dress I am not going to expect wine, or to be waited on hand and foot....I loved my experience at Gingers

I could not believe it, truly.

My FIRST bridal store experience, for my new exciting engagement, and it was absolutely frustrating and agonizing...I could not wait to leave.

All I will say is: be ready, with your armor on. The sales pitch is over the top...everything "looks great on you!", which of course is not the case.

And watch how they treat the mother of the bride! There was very little respect and courtesy, honestly.

Right down the street is a wonderful shop called The Fashion Scene. The owner will treat you as you should be, with respect and honesty.

I have purchased quite a few gowns here for various functions and so have most of my friends as well.
They have a really great selection of high quality, well made dresses! You can be sure to find something to fit you perfectly and that represents you as a person.
The employees are really friendly and the most helpful.
I love this store. Very upscale!
