I've visited Capitol Roasters several times, and I really like it. It looks like a place that would be located somewhere other than Charleston. They have a fireplace, brick walls, and a very comfortable atmosphere. It's conveniently located in downtown Charleston, only one block from Capitol Street and the main library branch. Capitol Roasters has live music on weekends, featuring local talent. For instance, we saw my daughter's guitar teacher playing there one Sunday afternoon, and her friend's drums teacher and his band playing on a Saturday night. Their menu has smoothies, Starbucks-type coffee drinks, desserts, a few sandwiches, etc.
