They have a good selection of tuxes and we used them for our wedding. All I can say, is make sure they check off every item you return because they don't check the sizes of them. I got calls about shoes that I had returned because there was a mixup and someone turned in the wrong shoes. Just because they were my son's size, they took for granted they were ours. Even after the other shoes were returned, we still got calls saying I had not returned the shoes. They are unorganized and a little curtesy would be appreciated. I recommend you get some kind of receipt of items you return after a wedding.

Let me just start by saying after my terrible experience with Daniels staff, I decided I would never return and take my business elsewhere. I will discuss it in detail just to inform potential clients to avoid the store altogether if possible. I walked into the store and started looking around, talking to some decent staff members about certain shoes and current sales. I then proceeded over to the Mens shirts section and picked out a variety of large shirts in which I was going to try on. I am a picky person and wanted to analyze each shirt to see exactly which one I wanted. I noticed as I got into the dressing room, a creepy bald old man plopped down in a chair across the shop overlooking the mirrors and literally stared at me the entire duration of me trying on the clothing (I preemptively took a shower before this out of respect and was clearly a clean low profile client looking to purchase some clothing). After about 10 minutes of trying on clothing, I narrowed it down to 2 shirts, however the entire time the old man was still staring at me (every time I would look up he was making direct eye contact with me, disregarding how awkward and uncomfortable he is making current clients feel, and how ridiculous he himself looks eyeing customers down).

I went ahead and continued to switch between the shirts and I hear the old man from across the store bellow Oh come on, thats the 4th time you tried that shirt on! I didnt know how to react since I had no idea salesmen would be this rude to someone looking to purchase clothing in their store. He then proceeded to make it more audible and say Hey buddy! Come here! and motioned to me with his finger like I was a kid. He then kept repeating there was a larger mirror behind him and even after I said I wasnt interested, he kept trying to force me to use it. At that point I felt rushed and pretty mad at how blatantly childish he was acting and got the message that he wanted me to make a decision on the clothing for whatever reason (there was nothing he had to do in the store at the moment, but instead of assisting a customer and making them feel comfortable, the old man harasses them and rushes them).

After picking the shirt I wanted I proceeded to the checkout in which the old man followed me to desk and just paced around the checkout without actually taking my credit card (someone else was on the phone yet the old man was too lazy to check me out so I had to wait). After making the purchase I told the person that checked me out in ear shot of the old senile man working there that the experience was great but I didnt appreciate being told how many times I had tried something on from across the store and being stared at the entire time. The old man then chimes in and makes a quick excuse saying Hey I had to look at something! and I had to explain to him that being rushed, stared at, and being told how many times you tried something on is rude and extremely annoying. He then responded by saying Well if you dont like it, next time you come back and Im here, you can leave the store and come back some other time, implying that he will continue to be a cheap, creepy, rude, and above all, worthless salesman yet again. I told him I wouldnt come back and he said Well good - as if losing future business with a random customer with money to spend is a good thing.

At the end of the day if you go on their site, the only gimmick they offer for selling overpriced clothing that you could get for the same or cheaper online is that their staff is so adept, friendly, skilled in mens clothing, etc. Well after seeing first-hand that you get heckled by an old senile man when you are seriously trying out clothing, I can tell you thats a crock of BS and can advise you to take your business elsewhere to save you some trouble.

A lot of the other customers comment on the staff being rude and subpar on this review site so the trend is obvious. They arent actually doing anything difficult or stressful in that store; their only job is to wake up in the morning, go to the store, put on a fake smile, and butter up anyone that walks through that door so that customers will be enticed to spend money. All these guys do is show up with ridiculous egos that are based off no life accomplishments other than selling clothing to people. You would think these guys are some of the top doctors or politicians in the world the way they act. They are too proud of their jobs that a monkey can do and require no educational background whatsoever.

Just to re-emphasize, watch out for the creepy bald old man that floats around the store and doesnt actually do any work; he just sits, doesnt answer the phone, and is very awkward, rude, and off-putting. Hes someone you try to avoid and not have a conversation with and hes more or less a deal breaker for any future business I will conduct at that store; Ill take my wallet elsewhere.

The first thing you will notice upon walking into Daniels is the stores excellent selection, secondly you will notice the poorly masked look of disdain on the face of whatever employee has deigned to help you.
Arrogance as a by product of personal excellence is no character flaw, but arrogance as the by product of a baseless sense of elitism is pathetic. Selling fine clothes does not make you a fine man.
Perhaps Daniel's owner wishes to cater only to captains of industry and political moguls, but if that is the case then choosing to run his business in a college town speaks volumes about his intellect.

Pretty expensive and the staff is horrible. They act like you are bothering them if you ask for some assistance. I hear the tux rentals can be a pain as well. Big selection of shoes though.

Daniel's is a pretty store downtown that sells suits and other kinds of dressy clothing. The employees are not generally very friendly, at least not enough to make you feel comfortable. Everything in the store is pretty expensive, but sometimes you can wait it out for a great sale. There are not a lot of places to park either.

PROS: Usually has good sales
CONS: limited parking

They have a decent selection of food that is very healthy. It's all natural stuff and the prices are slightly high. The parking is really bad but the store is decent. The sales people are friendly enough. The store is small and can be packed at times.

PROS: Tons of clothing to choose from
CONS: Limited parking

Daniel's Clothing store located on High street is a great spot to do some high end shoping for buissness clothes. They have a great selection of suits, pants, and shirts for almost any buissness or casual man. The staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. They are moderately priced and every once and a while you will find a amazing deal.

When we were going to attend our prom this is where my (now husband) bought his suit. they have a nice selection of high quality items and they arent priced too bad either.
He was so happy with his suit, that a few years later when we were ready to get married he got his suit as well as his best mans suit here.
They are really friendly and do a great job if you are looking for something in particular.

PROS: Nice Selection, Great Service
