I called to schedule an appointment and asked if my insurance was in their network and would cover my visits. I was told yes. I went to my appointment and the front office staff was very rude and snotty. I had my cleaning and ended up getting a huge bill of over $120 after my insurance paid. When I called I was told very rudely that they didn't accept my insurance and I was out of network. I was told "you should know your insurnace". I had to pay the balance. When I called to get my xrays there were on a piece of paper because everything is digital my new dentist couldn't see the xrays. This office is full of rude, snotty people and I would never go back. I work in a medical office and when someone calls and asked our office about being in network we tell them the truth we dont just assume. This office needs to learn how to treat people. And come down off there high horse.

The moment we stepped into the office and were handed some paperwork to fill out I was a little skeptical. They have you fill out papers asking for your credit card information for any non covered charges OR provider discounts that the insurance does not pay. This is OK for the non covered charges BUT, the practice is not legally allowed to balance bill you the discount the dental insurance has provided the dentist must eat per the NAIC guidelines. Also on the paperwork they suggest that they are not responsible for overdrafts or fees caused by their charging your card. The paper DOES NOT stipulate that they will attempt to contact you first or bill you first to obtain permission to charge your card or accept any other method of payment before charging. This is crap!!!! Especially if they try and charge you a second time like they done me!! I had some dental work done and the insurance only payed a percentage and I new this before I made the appointment I had also got an estimate that I would be responsible for at the time of the work. I had the work done and paid the balance in cash and got a receipt (thank goodness) about a month to two months later I get a bill from a collection agency in Morgantown. It was for the balance that I had already paid. I called Comfort Dental and told them that I had paid the balance at the time of the work in cash and had the receipt in my hand while on the phone and they told me the reason the sent the bill to collections was because "the credit card information that I provided was invalid" this was so untrue. But for whatever reason the credit card didn't work I am glad. They didn't even offer for me to bring the receipt in and they would take care of the mess they made. They were very rude and wouldn't accept the fact that I had a receipt. Needless to say I was glad I had the receipt from were I paid the balance and was able to fax the receipt to the collection agency. They took care of it and that was the end of that and I wouldn't recommend going there even if the service is good.

I was a little nervous about having to change to a new Dentist. My insurance had changed and I had to pick a new Dr. I could not be more Happy with Comfort Dental. There are two great ladies who work the front office who treated my family with respect and was very helpful. I had a tooth pulled and I was made comfortable thru out my experience. The office is immaculant and very very well maintained. All office staff was friendly and acted in a very professional manner. I am glad to say we have found a Dentists we are actually glad to visit.
