We have taken our pets to this vet for several years. We were very happy with one of their Dr.s but after he left and another came in things got worse...

We always had to wait a 1/2 hour after appt. time had been scheduled. All 4 of our dogs were all afraid of Dr. Taylor. The last straw came when during our wait with 2 of our dogs one of our dogs was taunted by another patient (human not animal) after waiting for a long time the Vet Asst. nuzzled up to our already aggitated dog and he snipped at her when the Dr. came in the same dog snapped at the Dr. because he thought he was hurting our other dog. The Dr. made a comment that we needed to muzzle our dog in public. This dog is the sweetest and biggest baby. He would never hurt anything and never even barks.

Animal instincts say quite a bit and we listened to our dogs. None of them were comfortable going there so we have found another vet and everything is going well with them.

After talking with some friends who also went to MVC they said they also had bad experiences there and had to leave.

Not only have I taken all 5 of my animals there for the last four years. I will continue to do so as long as I live in the area. Dr. Goff and Dr. Kenney are, as the overall rating says, "world class". Both are very knowledgeable in the field and have never once gave a wrong diagnosis for any problems any of my animals have had. Morgantown Vet probably has some of the best prices in town as well. So if you are looking for great services and great prices this is the place I would suggest taking your animals too.

Myself and my sister have had several critters over the years that went to visit the awesome Dr. Carolyn Goff. Not only is she an outstanding vet but a very kind and compassionate human being. Her staff is also very excellent and compassionate. I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking excellent vet care for their pets! I can't think of a better vet in the area!

PROS: Excellent care - no "rotating" vets. Fair prices. Late hours and saturdays.
CONS: None from my point of view.

I had a 4-year-old boxer that was having diarrhea with blood and vomiting. This vet first treated him for worms, which his fecal test was negative; she then treated him for an infection and then said it was possibly viral. After I researched the situation on my own I found that Boxers are prone to Ulcerative Colitis, which my dog had all of the symptoms for. And if left untreated for a prolonged period of time that the prognosis is not good and the animal may not respond to steroid treatment. My dogs bones were showing he was not eating not drinking she had him on an IV and for the first three office visits I had paid her 380.00 and she still had no clue what was wrong. My husband then mentioned maybe colitis so they started treating him after the third visit. This was obviously too late he isnt responding to the treatment there fore we are going to have to put him to sleep. Now she wants to charge us 480.00 more dollars for an in patient stay that had made him even worse after his first three out patient visits. This vet should not have a license and I would not recommend anyone take an animal that they love to this vet!!!!!!!!!!

PROS: None
CONS: everything, worst experience of my life
