We buy almost all our furniture from John Paras and we have had excellent service and everything we hav bought has been exactly what we have wanted. Tjank you for the great service. Would highly recommend this store. Love the free delivery aqnd the fact it is local.

John Paras has the worst customer care and they do not stand behind their products. I bought two items from them and am completely dissatisfied with both, and will not recommend their products or service to anybody unless you want to be insulted and ripped off. The table I bought chipped when I was assembling it. And when I tried to return it together with the queen sized bed--that I had bought for a guest bedroom (never been used and still wrapped in plastic covering) that didn't fit with my guest dresser that arrived a week afterwards--they didn't accept either item back for a refund or swap (would have gone for a smaller bed if they had had the decency to help). To add insult to injury as I was walking out the door, a sales rep yelled out to my back "should have measured your room." This rude, unnecessary remark after they had sold me a subpar $400 dining table and bed prompted this review. Considering the fact that I'm a veteran and didn't have my household good with me after finishing a tour abroad (which they knew), thus did not know my furniture dimensions makes me realize that others should recognize their complete lack of service, quality or heart. Buy anything from them with trepidation and with the knowledge that you are promoting such poor behavior and inferior goods.

We had our eye on a couch for several months. We even had a sales rep that we had been working with. He new how much we were interested in the peice. Finally it was mothers day weekend and I was ready to buy the couch. They were all out, except for the one on display for the past 4 months. Disappointed we said we would buy it if they would discount it considering the used condition and that we would have to clean it. They said 10%. My wife said to the manager, that we would take it for 15%(this would only be another $50 off) At that point we did not know this at the time but John Paras himself was standing right be side us. Not saying anything. The Sales person and manager said "No way, someone will eventually buy it for full price". I was shocked. There I was with my wife, trying to buy her this gift, unfotunitely used and the manager would not go done $50.00. We said we rather keep looking and started walking away from the counter when we were about 50 ft away we heard a voice directed top my wife say get out of here we don't want your business!" At this point we were completely blown away, and felt outright humiliated. I felt someone hirer up needed to know about this unprofesional and disrepectful out burst, so I asked him his name. He introduced himseltf as "JOHN PARAS, the OWNER" Wow, enough said/ I will never go to any of his stores again and suggest that everyone else do the same. I also feel this John Paras person offer a public apology to my wife.

The last time we went to John Paras, we had to ask for service and then we just got pointed to some direction. It was as if we were an inconvenience just being there. They do have a good selection of furniture and appliances. I like their free delivery

While the selection is not huge, we have been able to meet our furniture needs. The service has been both good and absolutely awful at different times that we have been in to purchase. We have not had any trouble with the furniture or appliances we have purchased there.
