Lazar's Juvenile Furniture

Our shopping experience at Lazar's started off positive. the salesperson even commented on it being a family-owned business so they treat their customers very well. We were impressed with the selection offered since we were particularly interested in Ragazzi. We purchased a dresser, armoire and crib. Upon delivery the delivery men dropped the armoire cracking the top, which is understandable; accidents happen. We were assured it would be replaced in 2 weeks. Upon follow-up in 2 weeks, they had no record of the damage and no order had been submitted. In addition we then began inspecting the furniture more closely, the crib varnish was bubbled and began peeling. Clearly a manufacturer problem, however upon reporting this to the owner, Mark, he assured us that we would have a new crib and the armoire top "this week or next week at the latest". It has now been over 5 weeks since the initial delivery. The person who referred me to Lazar's felt so bad that she even called to report to them that she would never refer anyone to Lazar's again. Unless you feel confident that your furniture will arrive flawless, expect to STALK LAZAR'S to follow-up on when it will be delivered. They will not call and are highly unorganized.

CONS: Once they have your money don't expect to get any customer service.

Upon walking into this store I was struck by how beautiful their furniture was. With a little further investigation I learned that their choice of strollers were rivaled by none. Just the amount of choices was staggering.
We were greeted by wonderful employees who knew what they were talking about.
It was great to have someone walk us through everything.
The people were great, the delivery service was great and the furniture is stunning.

PROS: This was like finding a diamond in the rough.
CONS: Expensive but really, you get what you pay for.

Lazar's has the most beautiful children's furniture, you won't believe the beautiful designs that they offer. The price might be a little steep, but the furniture is of great quality and workmanship. They have a big showroom, with lots to choose from.

We went to this store when we needed a new crib for our baby daughter. This store has really fine quality furniture for all styles of baby or childrens rooms. The selection of cribs to choose from was really good. We found a crib that we loved that was really high in quality. We also got the matching bedding and accessories to complete the package. Their prices are very high compared to other stores, but once you see the quality of their furniture you dont mind paying extra. This is an excellent furniture store so I highly recommend it

Lazar's is an independent children's furniture store on the northwest side. They carry high quality baby and childrens furniture and are priced commensurate with the quality. Which is to say, they cost a lot more than Babies R Us but the quality is also much higher than you will find at most of the big chains. We were at Lazar's on a Saturday and an outstanding salesman helped us. He was not pushy yet really helped educate us as first-time buyers of baby furniture. We're very happy with our purchase as well as the delivery service which was flawless. I highly recommend this place for any baby furniture or supplies - it's worth the drive.
