You can't really go wrong with the ABC stores. Good location, good selection, friendly staff, and small selection of Virginia wines, which I appreciate.

ABC of Virginia is a great liquor store if you are looking for a good bottle of brandy, some Captain Morgans, or even my personal favorite--Baileys Irish Liquor. But, if you are looking for a six-pack of Miller Light, some watermelon shooters, or even a nice bottle of Merlot, look elsewhere. This place sells liquor only! I mean it: no wine, no beer, just liquor in here! It is affiliated with the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
PROS: Just liquor
CONS: No beer
