I love going bikeing here. Me and my brother come here when its not cold and either fish or just have fun. Its very nice to just walk across the birdge and forget about your troubles. I was so envious when he caught his first fish here and i caught nothing. And the boats here are fun to go on, the ones where you pedal. We went with our aunt once and it was fun and suprisingly cheap.

I have used Lake Johnson for many events, such as little birthday parties and cross country team training. The Lake has a trail that goes around the whole lake, good for jogging, walking, or biking. Waterboats are also available, such as canoes for fishing, and paddleboats. There is a snack bar for those that get hungry or thirst with items at pretty fair prices. Picnic tables are also provided for those that wish to sit down and eat peacefully. The only problem with the place is the availability of parking spots, there are only about 30 parking spots, making it difficult to find one when there are parties. Overall, Lake Johnson is a beautiful lake with many activities to do.

This lake is of average size located about a quarter mile away from the local high school, Athens Drive. At Lake Johnson, they provide you with many leisure activies. There is a paved tar trial around the whole lake, good for jogging or walking. There is a little common area with rocking chairs to just sit down and look out upon the water. A little concession stand area provides snack foods such as hot dogs, nachos, chips, and drinks. The canoes and paddleboats are refreshing, and provided at low prices. Lake Johnson is a great place to go on a nice sunny day, blocking out the noises of the industrial world.

Lake Johnson offers the normal picnic areas, boat rentals, a plethora of trails and fishing. They also have a concession stand and classes. The nicest thing about Lake Johnson is that there are meeting facilities available for almost any size group. There is a conference room with an attached verandah that rents for a reasonable price and offers a beautiful view of the lake plus privacy.
