NL boasts the interesting distinction of being New Yorks first Dutch Restaurent in over 200 years (amazing for a city that was once called New Amsterdam). I tried this place after visiting the Netherlands and I was pleasantly surprised. The pancakes here are very good, the atmosphere is fun, and the prices are reasonable. Plus if you have a taste for raw herring, NL has an amazing selection of dishes featuring it.
