Everyone knows that a child is not a child until they get to have the "Disney experience." I recommend yearly passes because if you live nearby you always get to go straight to the gate without having to pay each time. Even if you live far away and visit the park twice a year, you get your money's worth!

This is truly the happiest place on Earth. My family and I all have annual passes so we go here a lot. The passes are the way to go since the tickets are expensive and if you go at least twice in one year the pass has already paid for itself. Disneyland is full of great rides, great food, and tons of great memories!

This park would be a lot more fun if you didn't end up spending half of your day waiting in lines. They have great attractions. Very detailed displays. It's a lot of fun just to look at. But you would have to take atleast 3 days out just to go so you can ride everything. If your going to go bring bottled water and something to read... because even if you have interesting friends with you eventually you will get bored.

Consider this my homage to California Adventure. I think California Adventure is highly underrated, and we have been going yearly as a family since its opening. The park is peaceful and aesthetically beautiful, paying tribute to the different parts ofCalifornia. I love the serene Pier areas, the glam backlot studio section, and the more seculuded forrest areas. Thrill lovers will get a kick out of Tower of Terror and California Screamin, and everyone loves Soarin Over California. But what I really love is just strolling along with much less traffic than Disneyland Park. I can take my time, admire the structures, and take on a leisurely attitude. The kids can enjoy less high-tech, more interactive activities such as a water play area and a hugejungle gym-like area. The parades are great as are the shows featured in the live action theatre. The winery-inspired restaurant is a nice retreat with good food. Yes, it is too expensive...but once in a while, its worth it.
