I just got back from a trip to this NY&Co. First let me say that NY&Co has been my favorite store for years - the clothes fit me well, they're well made, etc. So, I've been willing to put up with a lot for the sake of a good fit.
But I have had it, honestly. Today, I waited about 15 minutes for a fitting room despite the fact that there are a row of unused dressing rooms across the store. Then I waited another 15 minutes to check out despite there only being a couple people in line b/c the ONE person at the register was calling in a credit card application. It is though they value the fact someone wants their card over the line of people willing to buy their merchandise.
When I finally got to the front of the line, the salesperson started ringing up my total and despite the fact that I was buying two identical dresses in different colors, one was 30% and the other 50%. I pointed this out, and the salesperson was rude and uninterested in correcting the problem. "It's 30%," she said flatly.
When I was leaving the store, I felt so sad - today was like saying goodbye to a friend who has used you one too many times...

Their merchandise is always hip and they have a pretty great selection, all well priced.
