Honestly, I don't know what's going on with this place. I walked in expecting some sort of variation on the theme of Vietnamese sandwich. I exited with chicken satay in a bun. That would have yielded no complaints, except that the satay tasted like feet. My friends who were with me concurred on the feet-taste question, both in my sandwich and their own. I certainly hope that they get their spice combination right soon so that their sandwiches taste more like curry and less like socks.

I have tried a couple of the drinks here and they're usually alright. They dont serve the best boba drinks but they are fine when you just want to pick up a drink on your way to somewhere. I especially liked their Thai tea. It's smooth and doesn't leave that chalky after taste in your mouth or throat. They offer a lot of drinks too.

East West Sandwich is a fairly new place that has sort of attached itself to Boba World. They serve the entire Boba World Menu along with a variety of Asian style sandwiches. The cultures represented are Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Phillipino, and Vegan.
The sandwiches feature traditional asian dishes, such as pork adobo or chicken in yellow curry, stuffed inside a crusty loaf of french bread. All sandwiches are made to order and at least a foot long. My personal favorite is the lemongrass beef. for a mere $3.95 I get a giant sandwich filled with tons of meat, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumbers and fresh jalapenos. Friends of mine, already in the know about vietnamese sandwiches deemed the ones from East West as more substantial than your average Vietnamese Sandwich.
I beg you to give them your business so that they stay in business a long time.

PROS: - giant tasty sandwiches at rock bottom price
- wide array of asian coolers and boba drinks
CONS: - services is not the best
- parking, as always in Westwood is a bit of a problem
