and I guess that about says it all. Having bred and showed cairn terriers and also working rescue, our vet visits were at least several times a month with ill rescue dogs, show dogs in whelp and everything in between. We did health testing on our dogs to be bred, and often the testing we did was still in the research stages however recommended as new tests. Dr. Mably was the first to work with us with calling the vets or universities who were doing the grants for protocol. We started when there was 1 vet [Dr. Maybly] and now there are many and they took over the space of the surrounding businesses. It saddened me greatly to move 90 minutes away and to not have this as my first choice for vet service.I especially appreciated the fact that this office is not a cover the illness with a band-aid. They research and test as to why a dog has a skin ailment as an example, not just plug it full of drugs which temporarily mask. I would totally recommend this office to others [I still do] They are not cheap, with their up to date equipment and where they are located, however the bottom line is that they are knowledgeable to your pets ailments are treated correctly the first time, so you don't have to keep going back or to other vets.Dr. Mably was VERY rescue dog friendly, even sending me to a spay/neuter clinic where he volunteered his services rather than use his office with our Cairn rescue's. This is one business that I very much miss. If you have a pet, this is the place to go, and there probably isn't another place around that has more cairn terrier experience.
This place is in the heart of Irvine, therefore is expensive. But the money spent is worth it. The doctors here are trained and really care about the animals. This place does an excellent job.
There bacic checkup and shots will be under 100.00. They are really careful when giving baths to the cats not to get the soap in there eyes. They also do walkins, and not just appointments. I like this place because there is always a doctor on staff always.
I have been taking my dogs and cats to Arbor Animal Hospital for years and have never had a bad experience there.
When I raised guide dog puppies, they gave a generous discount. They have always provided wonderful service. The front desk staff are really friendly and helpful. Also, ALL of their doctors are good. I feel that I can see any doctor there and still get great vet care.
