I'm writing a review of Dr. Robinson, 6 years post delivery of my daughter in March- 2003. I no longer reside in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, but I find myself pregnant again and looked him up to see if he was still in practice and wanted to take this opportunity to confirm my great experience with this gifted physician. The person who delivers your baby sticks with you in a special way, since it is such a vulnerable and monumental passage for a woman.

Dr. Robinson was not my OB/GYN from day 1 of my pregnancy in 2002/2003. I preferred to see female doctors. However, @ 32 weeks I freaked out after touring the hospital and decided to deliver at a birth center near Savannah, GA and Dr. Robinson was the attending physician at the facility in the event a M.D. was necessary.

Well my birth was smooth sailing to the extent that all went well, but my baby's head was slightly tilted, so after 24 + hours @ the birth center and 3 hours of crowning, I was transported to the nearby hospital in Savannah and decided to proceed with a surgical delivery as I was just too exhausted to push anymore.

I had such a good experience with Dr. Robinson that I switched to his practice and had certainly hoped that he would deliver any future babies as well.

I moved in 2004 to the other coast, but if I was independently wealthy, there is no question that I would somehow arrange to have Dr. Robinson care for me during my current pregnancy.

What struck me about Dr. Robinson was his bedside manner and the connection he made with me as a patient.
It was very obvious to me that being an OB/GYN was his calling and not his job. He was doing what he was born to do, no doubt.

Dr. Robinson helped deliver my last child and he is so sweet and nice, he has the nicest smile and during my stay in the hospital, he made sure he came to visit to make your stay even better.
