A favorite with anyone who knows Westchester and is tired of Manhattan, but still wants manhattan class. JC Fogarty's is well-known for its fantastic COLD beer offerings and its generous pours.
The food menu is ample and has high-quality stuff. The owner gets all the food fresh himself. It makes a difference. A big difference.
The music is legitimate, no matter what you are into. Whatever game you want to see, you iwll see it as they have it all with plenty of tvs.

Overall, our experience was nothing short of spectacular. Parking was simple, which is something these days. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. JC Fogarty's is a fantastic venue to host a banquet, anniversary, rehearsal, business dinner, or simply a romantic date. The restaurant??s ambiance is just right ofr lively conversation with solid music in the background. It truly captures the essence of New York suburaban life with an Irish twist. Come entertain your senses with invigorating and innovative flavors that entice your senses, pique your curiosity, and leave you happily satisfied.

I left Bronxville a few years ago and was just back there this weekend. This was my favorite place then and it still is now. I could eat every meal here, every day and not get sick of it. Not to mention that the staff treat you so well that you cannot help but go back to see friends.

Let me begin by telling you that I am not an easy customer. My own family tells me I am a pain in the ass at Thanksgiving. All that said, JC Fogarty's passes all of my tests. I feel compelled to write this review because I keep on having large gatherings and/or parties here and John Fogarty and his family keep surpassing my every expectation. Expect a warm atmosphere, more food than you and your group can eat and a generous supply of drinks. I have even had JC Fogarty's cater a meal at my house and that blew away my expectations also. Warning: this is not gourmet food. This is American style--feels like you cooked it yourself at home.

I was looking for a place to take my girlfriend to watch a game. Classy joint with the nicest owner I have ever met. It is like I stepped back in time when people gave you enough food. Clean place but super busy at times. There are many other places that cost way more and don't come close. Now a staple in our dating life. We generally end up here at the ned of a long work week and often at the end of the night, no matter where we went out. The only caveat: you may end up spending too much time there.

Don't miss this. If you want (willing) chicks, they are here. If you are looking for good bar food, it is here. If you are looking for a reasonable price on more food than you can eat, it is here. If you are looking for old-school buy back policies on drinks, they exist here. In short, you belong here.

I am not sure that words can decribe this place. It is the picture-perfect bar and restaurant in a picture-perfect town. Do not miss out on dinner or lunch and definitely get there as often as possible for drinks.
Lively, attractive bar crowd and the friendliest staff you can imagine. I would book all of my parties here, if only I lived in the area. Every single time I am in New York, whether Manhattan, Brooklyn or Bronxville, I make it to JC Fogarty's and you are making a mistake if you do not do the same. It feels as though one stepped off a time machine into what restaurants and bars used to be like before we were invaded by chains. SO, get there, enjoy it and thank me later.

Authentic, real Irish immigrants run the joint. And, they act like it. They actually care if you are having a good time. They buy you back--they remember what customer service means. I asked to watch an obscure game that nobody else would care to see and the owner himself asked his son to turn one of the tvs in my direction and turned on the San Diego State/BYU basketball game. And, the wings were amazing and the beer is fresh and colder than you can handle. My best advice to you is to get to this place and experience it for yourself.

All was going well here until a RODENT ran across the floor halfway through our meal.
I calmly got up with the excuse of having to use the bathroom (I was dining with my 80-year old mom and did not want to upset her) and went to alert the management. Well, they could not have been ruder.

I made an excuse to my mom that I wasn't feeling well and we needed to leave. The manager/owner or whomever that horrible woman was demanded I pay for my meal (which I could not finish after what I saw) and blamed the rodent in the dining room on the cold weather. I understand things may happen but its all in how you respond to your customer when things go wrong. I live in NYC and in the 17 years of dining out in the city I have never seen a rodent in a dining room..even in the cold weather.

I never even got "I'm sorry you had to witness that" and it was until after an argument with her that she told me I did not need to pay and quickly ushered me out the door like I was some sort of criminal. Meanwhile, my poor mom was waiting in the car for me (not aware of anything that was happening). They were so rude and, with rodents running around the floor in the dining area, I would advise nobody visit this establishment.

i was in with 10 of my friends. We ordered appetizers and drinks, but the owner treated me and my friends very rudely. He complained we didn't order dinner even though when I made reservations I informed them we would only be ordering appetizers. I'll never go back and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely. THey rushed us out, failed to wrap up or food and repeatedly shouted at us.

The only thing worse than the food were the band. The crowd is a bunch of common riff-raff. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Had the prime rib and date hade the stuffed shrimp. Food came out warm and cooled fast. Prime Rib was dry, no salad, bread basket cold and rolls were stale, annoying fly forced us to leave and have coffee and desert elswhere.

Three glasses of house wine and two dinners came to $98 plus tip.

Would not recommend at this time.

Nice crowd at the bar area.

PROS: Nice looking space, no wait getting a table, pleasant waitstaff
CONS: Bland food
I went to J.C. Fogarty's with a couple of other people. We didn't have to wait long for a table and the space itself looks very nice. The restaurant and pub are split into 2 different sections: the dining area is laid out to be more upscale with fresh flowers and linens on each table, while the pub is dark, noisy and rowdy. My group was seated and ate in the dining room. Noise levels were moderate. Menu selections were limited, but featured some nice "comfort food" selections, such as crabcakes, steaks, pastas and seafood (no burgers, mostly entrees). I ordered the crabcakes with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (steamed broccoli, carrots and brussel sprouts). The crabcakes looked and tasted like those you'd find in the frozen section of most grocery stores, and not what I expected for a $22 entree. The mashed potatoes were dry and had absolutely no seasoning; not even any discernible levels of salt and pepper. The veggies were steamed and wading in a small pool of water. Again, salt, pepper and any essence of spices or flavorings was absent from the entire dinner. I was very disappointed with my meal and got through a few bites before pushing it away. Our server was kind, but service was slow. We had to flag him down to get his attention on a couple of occasions and even getting the check took awhile. In retrospect, the bar food in the other section would've probably tasted better. Instead, we paid around $90 for a disappointing dinner for 3.

Delicious American style food and nice atmosphere. Something for everyone to eat, and friendly service. There is also a bar and live music Monday through Thursday. Definitely a nice place to check out!
