Everytime I have been to the UW Physicians in Issaquah I have had to wait a very long time past my appointment time. Also when getting a prescription you have to make many calls to the office to get it filled and NEVER get a phone call back when leaving messages.

this doctors is the best in the area. they have a really good staff that helps you get around after you have minor surgery. that is really good, plus there bedside manner is top-notch. i will continue going to them if and when i need them.

PROS: good staff
CONS: appts are limited

I just stumbled across the bad review for Dr. Bennett in Issaquah and recalled seeing her a few years ago.
I had serious wrist pain over the weekend and called Sat. morning. They were able to get me in that afternoon thankfully. It was about the last appointment of the day, and then I got stuck in dreaded Issaqah traffic and was late. I was so worried they'd cancel my appointment! But they didn't, and stayed a little late to take care of me. Dr. Bennett did a thorough examination and was able to get me some wrist gaurds that stopped the pain.

I thought she was thorough, personable, and caring.

I didn't have a good experience at the UW Physician's clinic in Issaquah with Dr. Bennett. Often times you have to wait for a very long time to be seen for your scheduled appointment. If you call and have a problem and need a call back you sometimes wait for days. Their staff isn't all that friendly either. It seems like they're in a hurry to get as many people in and out of there as possible. I tried her for a year and finally switched to another network and am very happy with the office I chose.

I went to the UW for 6 years, getting my BA and Masters. I was a patient of UW Medical Centers the entire time. There are some good and bad points to UW Medicine. To me, I never doubted that the quality of the care I was getting was top-rate, however, the volume of patients the centers see can't help but leave you with a feeling that you are just one in a million. The doctors definitely know their stuff.

The University of Washington has clinics all over the western side of the state and possibly beyond. I like that I am able to get in to see a doctor virtually any time if I don't care if I see my regular doctor or not.

The down side to such an automated system is that its a little bit like assembley line health care. They don't have much of a heart for preventative medicine and they have managed to leave me waiting for over an hour and a half for an ex-ray when they didn't realize the technition was away.

The doctors I saw numerous times for a very persistant cough did little to help me. They didn't seem too interested in actively helping me get better, rather getting me in and out within 30 minutes or so.

However, if you move around as much as I do, it is nice to have all your records in one place, wether I go to the Issaquah clinic or the Woodinville clinic, or any of the other "branches".
