A store for real Americans

by Michael D.

This Wal-Mart is much like the rest, great selection and great prices. I don't go to this store often since I don't live close enough to justify the trip, but when in the area I like to stop in. On the down side it always seems to be crowded when I do visit, but great choice and prices bring in customers so that comes with the territory. I would also like to add; Ignore most of the reviews here as the anti-American and anti-capitalist left have a strong presence here in the Socialist Republic of Washington and they hate to see any company become large and successful, even an American success story like Wal-mart. Stick it up your lattes welfare leftist and shop elsewhere if you don't like Wal-Mart!

Even Walmart Haters know that Walmart RAWKS!!!

by May P.

I love my local Lynnwood, Washington WALMART as even Seattle Liberals on their 'Holier than Thou' Soapbox will testify that their prices are the lowest and the selection is excellent! It's funny how all the Walmart haters out there will make a beeline to good Ole Wally's when they want to save money! Nuttin' like a little Walmart to bring out the hypocrite in all of us! Aw Shucks....

Further more, the customer service I recieve is always top rate and
very efficient. Keep up the great product selection, Low prices and endearing customer services WALMART cause you are the best!

The store that makes me able to be a stay at home mom!

by Anonymous

Almost anything can be purchased at walmart. A one stop shop and absolute must for a stay at home mom trying to find the best value for the money. A tip for people like me who can not tolerate the crowds. Go in the early morning...most are open 24 hours anyway.

Watch out for thief

by CH L.

The first time I went to this walmart, my PDA got stolen.
I was kinda tired that day and was reading shopping list from my PDA.
After I put my PDA in the pocket of my coat, someone hit my right heel with a shopping cart, I was in sharp pain, and the person did it apologized to me. The thing I was not aware of was sometime after I got hit, my PDA was stolen from my pocket!
I have to admitted it's a pretty deceitful way of stealing. As soon as you got hit in the heel, your attention switched to the hurt heel and it's the time for them to steal from you.
The good thing is I don't have much stuff on my PDA and my PDA is made by Sony, so it looks more impressive than what it actually it.

walmart

by Genna R.

I have been to this walmart and it was ok. It a little massy and a lot of people there, but if some thing happend in your life and you cant afort better it a great palce to go. The product is not the best, but what you pay thats what you get. I would recomend walmart to other people if they are in need of one stop shipping, they have every thing in one place, check it out for your self, I thing its not that bad of a place were to shop.

Clumsy and not clean

by Alok A.

Walmart, though has cheap prices, but the products are not so good and crowd is also not nice. Hard to find parking and checkout lines are large. It's just average.

One Stop Shop

by Jennifer W. | insider Insider | Rank: 32,711

I like Walmart because it carries a little of everything. You can easily go to Walmart and pick up some groceries, power tools, clothes, and more. It saves you the time of having to drive to three or four different stores. Walmart also has pretty low prices. The only gripe I have with this one is that it is usually very crowded on the weekends which makes it difficult to navigate through the store.

WalMart

by Stephanie D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,575

Walmart is ok, the prices are very affordable. But I find sometimes the quality is not that great, especially in the home decor items. But it's a great idea to buy all your health and beauty aid products here if you want to save some money. As mentioned before, often it is very over crowded, especially on the weekends, and around holidays it's even worse. Once I had to exchance something after christmas, I won't be trying that again.

PROS: Good prices
CONS: Big crowd

Walmart

by Justin W. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,450

Prices are great, yeah. But the crowd is horrible. It's very hard to get through this store, and don't even try to get through on the weekends. I got here when I need to, but other then that I try and avoid Walmart.

Cheap for a reason...

by Michael A. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,845

The one and only time I stepped foot in this place I knew something was wrong. How could they be so cheap??? Well, at everyone's expense, especially smaller family owned businesses. Shame on you Wal-Mart shoppers and shame on us for putting up with them.

Nothing good about this store!

by Anonymous

Okay, if there is one good thing about this store, it's their prices. But that is it. Wal-Mart does have a wide variety of merchandise, but it's so poor quality that it's not worth it to pay such low prices. This location is somewhat small, and shopping there is so difficult because it's usually so crowded and dirty, not to mention that they rarely have things in stock. Target is a better bet, a bit more expensive but higher in quality and stock.

Saving Money vs. Losing Time, Dignity, Morals

by C. L. W. | insider Insider | Rank: 19,808

The ethical issues of shopping at Walmart are varied and pretty well publicized in the media. Walmart kills small business, it's bad to its employees, and I'm sure there's something about sexual harassment and glass ceilings that either will or has come out about the large corporation.

Simply put, Walmart is just that: a large corporation. So, it's a great deal, reasonable merchandise and a perfect mega-mart. There are just those tricky moral issues, and the omnipresent crowd.

Truth be told, I'm a recent college grad, so the financial incentive is huge for me to shop at Walmart (and I won't judge anyone lurking in those aisles with me!)... but, if you can afford something less corporate, I'm sure your conscience will thank you.

Bland, bland, bland...

by Kevin D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,650

I finally went to a Wal Mart last Christmas. My goodness, it was a terrible experience. Overcrowded, too far away, bland products, and clueless employees. This was a nightmare! I had to drive 15 miles to get here. So I had to fight it through. I was fortunate to receive a Wal Mart gift card. So I made a big point to spend the whole amount and never come back. Everyone had zombie/confused faces. I am sure I was one of them as well. What it came down to is that I couldn't find uniqe gifts for friends and family. I can, however, find toothpaste, lame socks, a top 40 cd, and bird food in the same place. I'll have no part of blanding my choices because I am too lazy to look elsewhere. I will never go back!

PROS: everything store
CONS: people, location, selection

A certain kind of hell, though one with LOW LOW PRICES!

by Peter H. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,579

I am of two minds about WalMart. In some ways, it is everything wrong with America. Cheap goods from overseas trucked in to people who are overweight, undereducated, and poor because either 1) where they used to work got KILLED by Walmart, or 2) they used to make the things that are not made overseas. Thus, their is a certain odd "I am eating my own leg, because I am hungry" thing going on. OK, I will get off my liberal Seattle soapbox, though not before telling you that the state teacher's union (WEA) will not reimbusre teachers for supplies bought at WalMart, because the company actively supports efforts to undermine public schools.

That said, I sometimes swallow my pride (I am not too well off) and stop there. Things are cheap, supply and choice is huge, and if I do it quick, I don't get a headache. But I feel bad about myself for the rest of day.

Walmart is fantastic.

by Beth C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,570

Yes, it's hectic and there's a bunch of people but if you are a smart shopper you go when there isn't anyone there. At 7:00 AM when the store opens, you have the store to yourself. Not to mention, the McDonald's is great for the kids' breakfast. The kids are happy, mom's happy, everyone's happy. It takes a few times to figure out where everything is because the store is huge and has anything you could possibly want or need. Walmart is absolutely fantastic!

One-Stop Shopping Vs. Pure Shopping Madness

by Jacob L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,872

It seems that shopping at Wal-Mart comes attached with plenty o' strings, tangled strings. Frantic customers, retail clutter, and a stadium-sized parking lot -- the emotional/physical price to pay one must pay to save a little cash. The Lynnwood Wal-Mart is by far the worst location, having the most difficult street access and the heaviest littering of shopping carts dispersed all over its parking lot. The store's interior layout is absolutely terrible, but I give the store two stars because one, there isn't another Wal-Mart within 30 miles; and two, I save more money there than anywhere else.
