Borders

I just can't like this store, their selection is lousy, consisting of current books and old bestsellers. For the amount of space they have you would think their backlist selection would be richer. I have to research topics for my job and Borders is my last resort as their selection is so shallow. The staff seems to be evenly divided between helpful book geeks and snotty wage-monkeys.

Most everyone knows Borders by now - great selection of books and also a nice coffee shop. They'll also gladly order you any book you want and hold it for several days which is fabulous! This store in Union Square is no exception to all the great things Borders represents at all locations. Only bad thing is no parking.

Coffee and books-why hasn't anyone thought about it before? This store has many interesting books which will both serve as reference and as a hobby. Enjoy!
