Perfume House

I have purchased quite a bit from The Perfume House in the past. To me, the parking is a bit of a hassle. I own a Lexus, and feel like I must park it near by. I love the shop, it is very beautiful inside, but I feel the sales women have an attitude. I always dress up, making sure I am wearing topaz or diamond jewelry,
and I have a positive attitude. But I feel I am just a bother to the sales women, and I am automatically expected to purchase something though the service is slow and not very good when you finally get service.
I have found that If I purchase my favorites from fragrance.net or Perfume Emporium.com, I get fast delivery , and I am paying 50% less.

This is one of my favorite places to go. I'm a real perfume lover & not only do they have an incredible selection & many higher end brands but they also know what they are talking about (which is not necessarily the case in dept. stores where I almost always know more than the sales associates, lol). This is the only place in town (that I know of) that you can find Serge Lutens, Comme de Garcons, Amouage, Creed, etc. And the private collection is absolute magic!

I am a native Portlander and decided to check out the Perfume House for Valentine's Day. I waited patiently for service but the first free salesperson helped the lady that entered the shop after me who was in dressier clothes.I don't know if it was racism, agism or classicism but It was insulting and offensive. I will not support a local business with this type of sales policy. I will take my business to Saks or Barney's next time.

I love going to this place. I buy all my perfumes from here. Every time I go I bring a new girlfriend along and they are all mesmerized by it. The owner of the shop will fascinate you with his perfume stories, from hosting a Saudi prince to his Parisian perfume making tales. Love it!

You can find ANYTHING you are looking for... and most likely MANY things you've never heard of! Impressive in the extensive range of perfumes... and the knowledge of the staff.

PROS: Unending selection--impressive array & quality!

I've been there and its a very nice place, the service was very nice and they have all the perfume you can imagine, things I've never even heard of ..

The perfume House is an experience of a lifetime. You are educated on what a perfume really is and how to determine the right scent for you. It is like walking into prefume wonderland. A Must experience if you like scents!
