The greater part of my school certifications are from this school. Not just they have an incredible extent of online classes; they likewise have first rate educators who will equip you for four year degree program. I additionally took my management classes here and their educators are the best- they recognize what they're doing! Coincidentally, their English teacher is doubtlessly one of the few who will accumulate out the best you. They got incredible parking areas and the expense of heading off to this school is modest. In fact I recently applied for online finance degree from http://bit.ly/ILZC4m on the basis of my previous degree from city college and got an easy enrollment.

Most of my college credentials (transfer requirements and g.e.) are from this college. Not only they have a great range of online classes, they also have top notch professors who will prepare you for four year degree program. I also took my LVN/LPN classes here and their instructors are the best- they know what they're doing! By the way, their English (HOnors class) instructor is definitely one of the few who will bring out the best in you. They got great parking lots and the cost of going to this college is cheap.

My older daughter is a graduate of City College of San Francisco with an Associate Degree in nursing. She has been a nurse now for over 20 years. City college is a stepping stone to many students who goes on to a 4 year university. It's inexpensive and they have a variety of programs to which anyone can earn an associate degree.

If you are a high school senior and you can't get into the college you want, then you can get a second chance at City College. There's nothing wrong with spending two years at a school with a diverse student body with some decent teachers. If you get excellent grades here, you can transfer as a junior. The school offers courses in Math, English, several foreign languages, computer programming, and more. There are night classes for those who can't attend the regular day classes. The tuition is reasonable and you can also apply for financial aid too!

City College of San Francisco has about "a million" campuses in the city of San Francisco. You can take classes in almost anything. They offer such a wide array of classes, from basic math and english to something as specialized as medical assit=sting or EMT. Its a great place to go to school and be able to transfer to a university. Check it out, its very affordable with many options.

I have taken a couple of summer school courses at City College in san Francisco. It is very affordable being only like twenty three dollars per unit. I really enjoyed my classes here and learned a great deal. Th eprofessors were always available for me which I really liked. They did not brush me off and go do research. The students were pretty freindly too, always helpful. Overall, its a great plae to learn. And parking is inexpensive for the huge lot that they have.

City College of San Francisco is the second largest junior college in America. They offer a wide range of classes, although they have been cut back due to the budget cuts. The school needs a make over, however they are making strides such as the increase in flow of traffic in and out of the parking lot. Classes fill up extremely quick, and there is a long wait for certain programs. Professors are for the most part adequate, however its just as any other school, a luck of the draw. I highly recommend there on line classes, if your short on time due to work, or family, or just planning to take an extended absence.

City College of San Francisco offers almost every class known to man. There are such a wide variety of classes to choose from and its only 26 dollars a unit. So much less compared to the high priced universities. The campus is huge, so there are alot of places that you can sit between classes and relax. The instructors are very comparable to universities. They are always helpful and you can easily talk to them. They are easy to get ahold of them. Overall, I would recommend City College, even for those people that just to pursue a hobby. IT is hard to find parking, but they sell cheap parking passes for their parking lot.

CCSF is one of the better junior colleges in the bay area. Their professors are comparable to some at the university level. And the prices are so affordable too. Only 26 dolars per unit. My husband and I actually took an evening cooking course last semester and it was way cheaper than a private cooking school. The parking is a bit difficult, but they do offer parking permits at really affordable prices. Beautiful campus.

This is a great place to learn. The teachers here are smart and know what they are donig. There is a problem with too many students, but as long as you register on time you will be fine. For the price you pay, it is a great deal. The teachers expect a lot, however if you are just looking to get a good grade try somewhere else.

I took a yoga class here and it was an unbelievable deal and my teacher was great. City College is a great place for PE classes and they also have a great selection of cooking classes for much cheaper than what you would pay at a private company. They also have quite a list of classes that meet on weekends or nights, for those of us that are working during the day.

I went here in the 1970's, and while the staff was good, I was dismayed even back then by the schedule cutbacks. I've heard it has gotten even worse. The buildings are overcrowded and outdated as well.

PROS: Inexpensive; anyone can go there (no educational minimums)
CONS: Not professional; old buildings

I like this community college because it is a cheaper place to pursue education before getting into the real universities. This is like a place to prepare us to 4-year-universities. I had studied in this place for 2 and 1/2 years and I have no regrets. I learned so many things from here and all professors are super nice. If you have difficulties in your courses, you can go to the Learning Assistance Center and the tutors are available to help you anytime. This college has chinese, italian, mexican, and american food. Buses and Barts are nearby. There are plenty of parking spaces because the school just built a new and big reservoir for student parking.

PROS: You are guaranteed to transfer successfully later.
CONS: The library is kind of "noisy" at times.

Why pay $10-$15 per class at a dance or yoga studio when you can sign up for a whole semester of classes at City College for under $40?

City College charges $26/unit + $11 Semester Health Fee and the dance/ P.E. classes are all only one unit. Most of the dance classes start at 6pm/8pm so it's convenient to go after work. I think all the classes are held at the Phelan campus, which is easily accessible by BART or Muni.

Only caveat...the instructors at City College do take roll and don't particularly like it when you miss class.

One of the cool things about City College of San Francisco is that they offer free non-credit vocational technical classes, like machine shop, welding, automotive, construction and furniture making, with Saturday and evening hours. The main campus is located right near Ocean Avenue in the city, but they have a lot of smaller campuses conviniently scattered throughout the city. One of these is the Fort Mason Art campus, which offers excellent, excellent art classes, some of them taught by the same professors that teach at the Academy of Arts, but for only $26 a unit. The main campus on Phelan is very pretty and scenic, set on a hill from which you can see lovely views of the city on all sides. The canpus has a lot of nice little cafe's and areas for students to lounge and study. A cool thing are the little gumball machines located around campus where you can get a handful of M&M's for 25 cents. Also the main campus is located convinently near Bart and Muni train stations, which is a good thing because parking
