This AMC is nice but the AMC 16 on Palm right arond the corner is definitely nicer. At this theater, both auditoriums and screens are smaller than that of AMC 16 although the sound system is probably about the same. Everything else, like the prices at concession stand and the cleanliness of the bathrooms are about the same.
I think many people assume this theatre is old and small, but it definitely is not. They have stadium seating and good size theatres. I like to go here for big events because most people go to the 16 down the street. There are always lines for the blockbusters. I like the friendly service and the clean facility. The picture and sound quality is great too!
Burbank AMC has to be one of the best movie theater complexes anywhere. they have about 30 theaters in 3 different locations, in a clean, upbeat, popular location in burbank media city. there are plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, not to mention coldstones ice cream shop. wow.
movie and a coldstone ice cream or coldstone ice cream and a movie, you choose. it's the best place to watch a movie. i have always felt safer than many other movie theaters in burbank.
parking could be a little better. but other than that, it's an awesome place to spend a part of your weekend with your loved ones.
PROS: Best Theater Complex to watch movies
CONS: could work on parking spaces a little more
Finally they have their own parking structure and the best part about this theatre and a lot of new ones is the ability to bypass the teller, and go straight to a atm machine for movie tickets. Throw your credit card in and out pop the tickets you've selected on the individual screen. Too bad you can't purchase tickets inside on those rainy days, but this is a HUGE improvement.
This is by far my favorite movie theater in the valley. They have this awesome deal with the Coldstone next door that you can bring your ice cream into the movie!! Seriously, you can't get any better than this. The sound quality is always awesome and the stadium seating is top noch. The theaters are smack in the middle of downtown Burbank, so it's a perfect date place, cause there are a ton of restaurants right there for after or before :) Dinner and a movie! Woo!
PROS:
CONS: Parking... <sigh>
I would come to this AMC frequently when I would live in Burbank. The service was great and the theater always seemed to be clean. All the employees from the concession stand are very friendly. You will find over priced food here just like all theaters but it's nice to enjoy a snack and a movie in a comfortable theater.
Great place to watch movies. Nice selection of all the new releases and so many times a day so your never left going home without seeing it. Newly renovated and i must say looks really nice and clean inside the theaters are big with nice comfortable seats and large aisles in between seats so you dont have to be all crowded gettting out of your seat. overall a great theater and not that expensive either.
No other words can describe thie theater. It has been renovated/rebuilt and plenty of parking added.... They show ALL the new movies so you will never go there and not be able to see one of the new releases... Grand Stand seating..... Free popcorn on Wednesdays..... Join the AMC Movie Club and you will get for every 5 times you go either a free popcorn, soda or movie ticket.... It is like a city within a city..... Arms of the chairs go up so you can be even more comofrtable..... I love all AMC Theaters, they really take good care of them.... In every AMC theater I have been in there has always been fresh flowers in the woman's bathrooms, how is that for class???
I have been to this Theater about three times. I have no complaint's so far. This is one of the nicest theaters that I have been to. It looks very nice and modern. The place is always clean and that includes the restrooms. They have an area with an arcade that is very small don't know if that's a good thing or bad.
Before the renovation, we used to come here at least once a month. (We had clocked over 500 movies on our "frequent moviegoer card"!). The building sure looks nice since the renovation, but we can't stand to go here any more.
Aside from showing 10-20 minutes of commercials before the movie starts, they started showing video projections with loud music in between movies, so you can't even sit and talk to your friends while you wait for the movie to start. Don't know who this is supposed to appeal to, but this wasn't our idea of a pleasant evening out.
This is a great theater. It is relatively new, is always clean, and since they have 14 screens, you can always find something everyone can agree on. There is a free parking structure a block or two away, near Macy's and IKEA, so you can shop and catcha movie without having to succumb to the banality of an indoor mall.
