Pagliacci Pizza

Message from Pagliacci Pizza

A locally owned chain inspires a legion of fans.
  • Extensive Pizza Menu
  • Seattle and Eastside Locations
  • Pizza Delivery and Catering

The corner of Queen Anne and Mercer became the site for the third Pagliacci Pizzeria on June 20, 1988. It just "felt" like a great location for Pagliacci and that feeling proved to be true. Our delivery service, which was introduced at the Queen Anne Pizzeria, proved to be so popular we had to build a separate kitchen at Valley and Aurora just for delivery. With Seattle Center as a hub for theatre, ballet, opera, concerts and sporting events, the customer mix at Queen Anne is our most unique. Formal wear and flannel are often found in the dining area at the same time.

Editorial Description by Citysearch
In Short
Its reputation is based on a New York-style crust topped with nothing more than tomato sauce and mozzarella. Seasonal pies make use of fresh local toppings like pears, portobellos and asparagus. Comfortable, loud and sometimes hectic, the slab concrete floors, exposed ductwork and high ceilings add up to a boisterous, young-at-heart experience. Slices and salads are available, or order a whole pie to share.

Pagliacci's is my favorite pizza restaurant in Seattle. Whenever I'm in the mood for pizza - this is where I go 9 times out of 10. They have the BEST pizza and the most amazing service. Very friendly atmosphere and the prices are amazing as well! Great salads too!

This review is of Pagliacci's delivery service. Their pizza is top notch, not too greasy or oily and they have a delicious array of toppingsd. Their call center folks are friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad pizza show up at my door. And when they say 35 minutes or less, they mean it!

PROS: Great Gelato too!

Pagliacci has some of the best pizza in town. The pesto pizza is one of my favorites. They also have "happy hour" from 5-7. If you order two slices you get a free soda! Also don't forget to ask for a frequent buyers card. A free slice is always a nice treat!!!

Pagliacci has the best in pizza especially if
you are from the east coast and live in
Seattle. I met the owners one time at
one of their outlets and they were the
greatest people to talk to. They told
me they really take pride in their
pizza. It shows!

Every piece is great  4 Star Rating - Very good

I'm usually a traditionalist when it comes to pizza but I have to admit that I've ventured out and tried all kinds of pizzas here and loved each one. I recommend trying a pizza without red sauce for a real change. Lots of choices for those that don't want meat and want suggestions for delicious pizzas. Best Pizza in Town  5 Star Rating - World class

Pagliaccis has always been my favorite pizza in Seattle. Whether its the Pesto Primo Special, or just a slice of pepperoni to kill the hangover, it's always a satisfying experience.

Pagliacci's is my favorite chain pizza restaurant in all of Seattle. A fresh slice of pepperoni and a side of Pagliacci's signature salad make an excellent lunch or dinner.

PROS: pepperoni, salad, atmosphere

Fresh, Local Pizza - Local and Seasonal Ingredients 5 Star Rating - World class

By johncleaver

Pretty off base review below - not liking Pagliacci Pizza for whatever reason is fine - but they actually use some of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in the industry. This weekend we had the seasonal roma tomato and basil pizza - amazing. And the reason people LOVE Pagliaccis - and the reason Pagliacci Pizza received the Life Time Achievement Award for best pizza in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly this last week (Aug '08) - best crust in the industry (Seattle) best sauce and local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pagliacci Rules!

Pros: ingredients, green iniatives, pizza pizza pizza
Cons: they need a location in leschi / mt. baker

BEST PIZZA! 5 Star Rating - World class

By ThuNatalie421

My boyfriend and I went here on your last day in Seattle. It was well worth it and we are definitely coming back the next time we are in town. I guess the staff could tell we were out of towners because we looked confused, but they were great. I liked the fact that there has variety on there menu. There was a lot to choose from and they also serve pasta. They also sell by the slice if you are on the go. I would have to say thank you to the delivery guy we saw at our hotel and the person who orded the pizza. We would not know this place existed if it weren't for them.

Pros: Excellent Pizza! Variety
Cons: Parking

Super thin crust! 5 Star Rating - World class

By tammarak

I love Pagliacci's. If you love thin crust this is the best I've had. Have them stretch the 13" crust to 17" for an even thinner pizza. They have some really good fresh ingredients and I really like the pies with the olive oil base. My favorite, the Parma Primo, goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh basil, yum!

Pros: Excellant crust and toppings
Cons: Delivery can be a bit slow

Nice gourmet toppings, nice open-air atmosphere 4 Star Rating - Very good

By herlock

When there pretty late on a weekday (9PM). Had a pre-made pizza by the slice (good low-cost option for a single diner) - it had spiced chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzerela, and feta. Pretty good. Nice atmosphere: you can watch folks in the back hand-tossing the pizza, and the windows were all open. Even sitting inside, I could people watch folks going by on Queen Anne Ave.

Pros: gourmet pizza toppings, casual people watching ambience
Cons: no parking
