5 Stars: Fresh, Local Pizza - Local and Seasonal Ingredients (by johncleaver)

Pretty off base review below - not liking Pagliacci Pizza for whatever reason is fine - but they actually use some of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in the industry. This weekend we had the seasonal roma tomato and basil pizza - amazing. And the reason people LOVE Pagliaccis - and the reason Pagliacci Pizza received the Life Time Achievement Award for best pizza in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly this last week (Aug '08) - best crust in the industry (Seattle) best sauce and local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pagliacci Rules!

5 Stars: BEST PIZZA! (by ThuNatalie421)

My boyfriend and I went here on your last day in Seattle. It was well worth it and we are definitely coming back the next time we are in town. I guess the staff could tell we were out of towners because we looked confused, but they were great. I liked the fact that there has variety on there menu. There was a lot to choose from and they also serve pasta. They also sell by the slice if you are on the go. I would have to say thank you to the delivery guy we saw at our hotel and the person who orded the pizza. We would not know this place existed if it weren't for them.

5 Stars: Super thin crust! (by tammarak)

I love Pagliacci's. If you love thin crust this is the best I've had. Have them stretch the 13" crust to 17" for an even thinner pizza. They have some really good fresh ingredients and I really like the pies with the olive oil base. My favorite, the Parma Primo, goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh basil, yum!

4 Stars: Best gourmet Pizza in Seattle (by sheilat818)

My mom and I were at a hotel and wanted pizza...in Seattle. Hard to find good gourmet pizza, but there's was great. Highly recommended and somewhat affordable. Very tasty.

4 Stars: Nice gourmet toppings, nice open-air atmosphere (by herlock)

When there pretty late on a weekday (9PM). Had a pre-made pizza by the slice (good low-cost option for a single diner) - it had spiced chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzerela, and feta. Pretty good. Nice atmosphere: you can watch folks in the back hand-tossing the pizza, and the windows were all open. Even sitting inside, I could people watch folks going by on Queen Anne Ave.

3 Stars: Disappointing (by firsfirst)

This is just another pizza restaurant. This one happens to be clean and is located in a busy neighborhood. Make sure you bring your wallet because you won't get anything here for pocket change. Sauce is average and toppings are scarce. You will not exceed your dairy limit with this pie.

2 Stars: Boring (by dreckskim)

I've eaten excellent pizza in New York. While Pagliacci manages to get the overall shape correct, the resemlance to New York-style pizza ends there.

Pagliacci's tomato sauce is breathtakingly bland. Many times I have taken a bite of Pagliacci pizza, only to find myself examinging the piece in my hand to see if there was any tomato sauce at all.

In the end, the Pagliacci pizza experience is a disappointing mystery; all the ingredients should be there for an outstanding pizza but at their best, they rarely manage to eke out mediocrity. The only bigger mystery is how they acquired a good reputation.

5 Stars: Delivery to die for (by Rachael B.)

This review is of Pagliacci's delivery service. Their pizza is top notch, not too greasy or oily and they have a delicious array of toppingsd. Their call center folks are friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad pizza show up at my door. And when they say 35 minutes or less, they mean it!

PROS: Great Gelato too!

5 Stars: Excellent pizza (by teri j.)

Pagliacci has some of the best pizza in town. The pesto pizza is one of my favorites. They also have "happy hour" from 5-7. If you order two slices you get a free soda! Also don't forget to ask for a frequent buyers card. A free slice is always a nice treat!!!

5 Stars: Great Pizza (by Alex S.)

Pagliacci has the best in pizza especially if
you are from the east coast and live in
Seattle. I met the owners one time at
one of their outlets and they were the
greatest people to talk to. They told
me they really take pride in their
pizza. It shows!

5 Stars: Cheese & Pagliaccio - done (by t0adman)

Don't listen to any of the haters posting about slices too small and too expensive. Get cheese pizza, load it up with red peppers, parmasean, herbs and a little oil and vinegar, and complete the meal with a pagliaccio salad and you've got a combo you can't beat. It's the best thin crust pizza in Seattle hands down. You want heavy pizza hit Northlake Tavern. Pags is so good.

spent years living in little italy in nyc and guess what? this is how they make pizza! with the thin crust, that is. (deep dish is chicago-style). some of pagliacci's seasonal specials are wacky (like the pear primo) or just not that good (the mushroom primo) but their every day pizzas are perfect. good flavor, fresh ingredients, not too much cheese. you can't ask for much more than that.

4 Stars: Quick and Good Eats (by CourtBC)

Pagliacci Pizza is a really good pizza place if you looking for some cheap eats and you can't make up your mind what you want. The pizza is a "middle-of-the-road" style, not thick, pan style but not thin and crispy. The toppings are adequate and not so much that their falling of the pizza and you can't eat it with your hands. The salads are surprisingly good and a little different from your typical garden salad. The bread sticks are pretty good but also pretty average.
