Pretty off base review below - not liking Pagliacci Pizza for whatever reason is fine - but they actually use some of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in the industry. This weekend we had the seasonal roma tomato and basil pizza - amazing. And the reason people LOVE Pagliaccis - and the reason Pagliacci Pizza received the Life Time Achievement Award for best pizza in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly this last week (Aug '08) - best crust in the industry (Seattle) best sauce and local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pagliacci Rules!

My boyfriend and I went here on your last day in Seattle. It was well worth it and we are definitely coming back the next time we are in town. I guess the staff could tell we were out of towners because we looked confused, but they were great. I liked the fact that there has variety on there menu. There was a lot to choose from and they also serve pasta. They also sell by the slice if you are on the go. I would have to say thank you to the delivery guy we saw at our hotel and the person who orded the pizza. We would not know this place existed if it weren't for them.

I love Pagliacci's. If you love thin crust this is the best I've had. Have them stretch the 13" crust to 17" for an even thinner pizza. They have some really good fresh ingredients and I really like the pies with the olive oil base. My favorite, the Parma Primo, goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh basil, yum!

When there pretty late on a weekday (9PM). Had a pre-made pizza by the slice (good low-cost option for a single diner) - it had spiced chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzerela, and feta. Pretty good. Nice atmosphere: you can watch folks in the back hand-tossing the pizza, and the windows were all open. Even sitting inside, I could people watch folks going by on Queen Anne Ave.

This is just another pizza restaurant. This one happens to be clean and is located in a busy neighborhood. Make sure you bring your wallet because you won't get anything here for pocket change. Sauce is average and toppings are scarce. You will not exceed your dairy limit with this pie.

I've eaten excellent pizza in New York. While Pagliacci manages to get the overall shape correct, the resemlance to New York-style pizza ends there.

Pagliacci's tomato sauce is breathtakingly bland. Many times I have taken a bite of Pagliacci pizza, only to find myself examinging the piece in my hand to see if there was any tomato sauce at all.

In the end, the Pagliacci pizza experience is a disappointing mystery; all the ingredients should be there for an outstanding pizza but at their best, they rarely manage to eke out mediocrity. The only bigger mystery is how they acquired a good reputation.

Pagliacci has some of the best pizza in town. The pesto pizza is one of my favorites. They also have "happy hour" from 5-7. If you order two slices you get a free soda! Also don't forget to ask for a frequent buyers card. A free slice is always a nice treat!!!

Pagliacci has the best in pizza especially if
you are from the east coast and live in
Seattle. I met the owners one time at
one of their outlets and they were the
greatest people to talk to. They told
me they really take pride in their
pizza. It shows!

I'm usually a traditionalist when it comes to pizza but I have to admit that I've ventured out and tried all kinds of pizzas here and loved each one. I recommend trying a pizza without red sauce for a real change. Lots of choices for those that don't want meat and want suggestions for delicious pizzas. Sign up for the mailer and get freebies too!!!

Pagliaccis has always been my favorite pizza in Seattle. Whether its the Pesto Primo Special, or just a slice of pepperoni to kill the hangover, it's always a satisfying experience.

Pagliacci's is my favorite chain pizza restaurant in all of Seattle. A fresh slice of pepperoni and a side of Pagliacci's signature salad make an excellent lunch or dinner.

Don't listen to any of the haters posting about slices too small and too expensive. Get cheese pizza, load it up with red peppers, parmasean, herbs and a little oil and vinegar, and complete the meal with a pagliaccio salad and you've got a combo you can't beat. It's the best thin crust pizza in Seattle hands down. You want heavy pizza hit Northlake Tavern. Pags is so good.

I remember walking in and gawking at the prices, but once i took the first bite, it was well worth the money. whole roasted garlic cloves and goat cheese??? who knew! try the chicken primo, it is just awesome! and everyone that works there is very nice and smiley, but not red-robin over-kill smiley, they are real.

spent years living in little italy in nyc and guess what? this is how they make pizza! with the thin crust, that is. (deep dish is chicago-style). some of pagliacci's seasonal specials are wacky (like the pear primo) or just not that good (the mushroom primo) but their every day pizzas are perfect. good flavor, fresh ingredients, not too much cheese. you can't ask for much more than that.

I think this is the best thin-crust pizza in the U.S. I'm not kidding. I've had thin-crust pizza all over, and even my New Yorker friend was impressed with it. I still compare all thin crust pizzas I try to the ones I've eated at Pagliacci.

Pagliacci Pizza is a really good pizza place if you looking for some cheap eats and you can't make up your mind what you want. The pizza is a "middle-of-the-road" style, not thick, pan style but not thin and crispy. The toppings are adequate and not so much that their falling of the pizza and you can't eat it with your hands. The salads are surprisingly good and a little different from your typical garden salad. The bread sticks are pretty good but also pretty average.

Message from Pagliacci Pizza: Queen Anne

The corner of Queen Anne and Mercer became the site for the third Pagliacci Pizza on June 20, 1988. It just "felt" like a great location for Pagliacci and that feeling proved to be true. We won "best pizza" in Seattle for so many consecutive years that The Seattle Weekly gave us a lifetime achievement award. Free pizza delivery to all of Seattle daily.

Our delivery service was introduced at the Queen Anne Pizzeria. The service proved to be so popular we had to build a separate kitchen at Valley and Aurora just for delivery.

With Seattle Center as a hub for theatre, ballet, opera, concerts and sporting events, the customer mix at Queen Anne is the most unique. Formal wear and flannel are often found in the dining area at the same time.

Pagliacci Pizza Queen Anne - a long history of Seattle pizza and pizza delivery, private parties, catering, dine in and take out.
