I like this park district a lot. It is really clean and well-kept and has great facilities. One of the real neat things they have is a water park. It is an awesome place to take the kids in the summer. It is not very big, but has a nice pool and a water slide too. And in the winter, there's lot of things to do too. They have an indoor pool, a fitness room, a running track, and lots more. and you do not have to be a member of the park district to get in. They also let you buy one day passes!

PROS: CLEAN, LOTS OF AMENITIES
CONS: NOTHING

My son attended summer camp with Skokie Park district. The staff did lots of fun activities - swimming, games, sports, etc. He had a lot of fun and made friends. However, at a price of $150+ a week, plus fees for early (8-10 a.m.) and late (4-6 p.m.) care, The price is practically prohibitive for middle-class families. We only paid for 4 weeks and then my mom kept him for the rest of the summer. If we hadn't had that option, we would've had to go into debt just to keep him safe for the summer

PROS: Friendly staff, great activites
CONS: Cost is too high
