I have great service with Wawanesa, always comes right through when needed. My only concern at this point is the service fees they charge, it isn't much, but my friend tells me many auto insurance companies are in lawsuits for doing that, I wonder if Wawanesa should not be doing that as well, has anyone heard?

Worse customer service, i made a payment towards my policy twice with a 1 min interval caus i realized that the 1st pamyment was made by the wrong bank a/c that i dont use any more. after make 2nd payment i left a voice mail sayin that pls do not process the 1st payment caus i dont use that a/c any more and also called them twice next day and the following week.... the payment was still in process and the rep who helped me assured that if the charged r not yet posted u dont have to worry... but the 3rd weeek i say the extra fee charged.. i called them and the rep was completelly useless... was transfer to a/c'ing dept. then the manager but non of them helped me.
They said and i Quote "OUT SYSTEM IS SET IN A WAY WHERE BY ONCE U MAKE A PAYMENT OVER THE NET V HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT AND V CANT STOP OR CANCLE THE PAYMENT" i was quite pissed if they would have told me this earlier when i was calling them i would have been just disappointed not mad at them...
I advice if u not to go with this company caus their is no way they actually give you customer service.

I have been insured with Wawanesa for over 14 years.
I have been involved in several accidents - both at-fault and not-at-fault. The claim service I received from Wawanesa was exceptional.
Their policy service is outstanding and simply put - you won't find a lower price.
They operate state wide by toll free number. You call they mail you a quote or you go on-line a get a quote. They save money by not having to have huge sales offices all over the state and pass those savings on to you. They are kind of like the "brown paper bag" of auto insurance companies - they give you everything you need but because they don't spend a lot of money on fancy forms and advertising they can and do pass those savings on to you. Do you care if the envelope you receive your renewal policy in is glossy and 5 color? Or would you rather keep more $$$ in your pocket?
I have checked every other renewal and I save hundreds of dollars every year. They have treated me well and always been there when I needed them - for a lot less money than everyone else.

I do this every other year and I can tell you - everyone should do this! The government provide this free to everyone and everyone should take advantage of it . You can save huge amounts of money by investing 3 minutes of your time. It is amazing how much some companies charge compared to others and especially Wawanesa!
World Class - without a doubt!
PROS: Way less cost - way more service!
CONS: You can report a claim 24/7 but policy change requests from 7am-7pm.

I first found out about Wawanesa Insurance about 10 years ago. After shopping several different carriers, I found their prices to be the best for the coverage that they offer. Now, I have been with them for a long time and am very satisfied.

You can't beat these guys prices on home and auto/car insurance. Though not a household name like Farmer's or Allstate, their products and services model them no differently.
